A cat lover's paradise: A cafe that's purrfectly charming. I visited on a weekday afternoon around 11:30 AM. The interior is filled with antique furniture and cat figurines, creating a classic atmosphere with a touch of cuteness. It's definitely a place that would appeal to women, and by 12:30 PM, most of the seats were occupied by female patrons. It seems to be featured in foreign guidebooks, as there were many international visitors as well. I ordered the most popular Honey Toast & Cappuccino set (¥1680). The toast, generously soaked in honey harvested from the lily trees of the Imperial Palace, melts in your mouth with a sweet, juicy flavor. A knife was provided, but the toast was already cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. The toast was topped with a dollop of pale yellow whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. I savored the honey first, then enjoyed it with the whipped cream, and finally topped it with the ice cream – a delicious trifecta that I devoured without a single bite left. Even the crust of the bread was soft and infused with honey, making it a luxurious treat for any sweet tooth. The 3D art cappuccino perfectly complemented the sweetness. Two adorable little kittens, crafted from delicate foam, seemed to be taking a dip in a latte hot spring. It was both artistic and charming, but beyond its cuteness, the coffee was a smooth and authentic brew, expertly prepared using aネルドリップ method. The cup was a Wedgwood Psyche (Rose), making me feel like a lady of leisure! The staff informed me that they use Wedgwood for almost all their customers. It's impressive to see a restaurant, especially one that deals with fragile items, using tableware from the British Royal Family. And to top it off, the adorable kittens were perched on this beautiful porcelain. It's the ultimate in hospitality. The food and the interior were both excellent, so I quickly scribbled a thank-you note on the bill. The female staff member beamed with joy and said, "I'll keep this!" The kitchen staff were also smiling from the moment I walked in, and they were all very friendly. I wish I had come sooner! Out of curiosity, I asked about the cafe's history. They told me it had been around for about 18 years. 18 years ago... back when we didn't even have camera phones... It's probably for the best that I came now. The delicious honey toast and the adorable cappuccino are definitely worthy of being captured and shared with the world.
This coffee shop has been a part of my life for about 15 years. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the master's carefully brewed coffee and meticulously prepared meals are a delight. They were a pioneer in 3D latte art, and I found a photo from over 10 years ago when I first tried it, so I've included it here. The shop is popular with a wide range of customers, from young to old. Their curry and pasta dishes are excellent, as are their honey toast and cakes. They also offer four types of fragrant herbal teas, which I highly recommend. When I was a fresh graduate and didn't know my way around, the master and his sister always greeted me with kind smiles. Their warm personalities are undoubtedly the most charming aspect of this coffee shop.
The buzzworthy 3D latte art ✨ Located just a 5-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station, behind the Kabuki-za Theatre ☺️ The interior is elegant and stylish, with attention to detail in the decor. <Menu> - Black Angus Beef Curry (with salad and drink) - Cappuccino - Special Shortcake - Honey Toast The adorable 3D latte art is perfect for Instagram! It's too cute to drink 😍 The honey toast is a must-try! Bite-sized pieces of toast are generously drizzled with honey, served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. 😆 The sweetness is just right, with a refreshing flavor and the honey's aroma perfectly complementing the taste. I visited around April 2024. The atmosphere was stylish and classic. The cat latte art was adorable.
We visited Ken's Coffee Shop, located on the second floor of a building about a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station on the Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway, on a Sunday afternoon at around 4:45 PM. We were two people. We found it on Tabelog, where it looked promising with its 3D latte art. Going up the stairs to the second floor, we found a line of about three groups, even at this time, as expected of a popular place. We waited about 15 minutes and entered the shop around 5:00 PM. The interior was bright, beautiful, and sophisticated, as expected. Paintings with explanations were displayed on the walls, which was wonderful. There were four 4-seater tables, two 2-seater tables, one 1-seater table, and one table that could seat seven people with shared seating. The background music was a quiet piano jazz. Looking at the menu, we saw that the 3D latte art was available for cappuccino, while the cafe latte offered 2D latte art. Therefore, we ordered the following sets with cappuccino: * Honey Toast and Cappuccino Set: ¥1,680 (tax included) * Cake Set C: ¥1,550 (tax included) with marron tart and cappuccino The female staff at the shop were very kind and provided excellent service, leaving a good impression. About 15 minutes after ordering, the cafe latte arrived. Wow, the 3D latte art was even more amazing than we imagined! One had three cats comfortably soaking in a cafe latte hot spring, while the other had two parent and child cats. They were so cheerful and comfortable, which warmed our hearts. They were so cute that it took courage to drink them. (^_^;) The cups were also sophisticated, as expected of Wedgwood. Then the honey toast arrived. It came with ice cream and whipped cream, and the honey generously drizzled over the thick-cut toast was truly sweet and delicious, being the first honey extracted from the flowers of the royal lily tree (Paulownia tomentosa). The marron tart also looked delicious. Payment was convenient as they accepted PayPay, various credit cards, and other electronic money, making cash unnecessary. Ken's Coffee Shop in Higashi-Ginza, Tokyo, is highly recommended for its bright and sophisticated interior, where you can enjoy delicious and unique items like the cute 3D latte art cappuccino.
