This is a perfect takeout Japanese confectionery shop for trying different treats. There was a long line of foreigners! The sweets here are truly innovative! Even foreigners who don't usually eat Japanese sweets or are trying them for the first time will find them easy to enjoy. ✨ ✅ Boat dumplings (black honey kinako) ✅ Warabi latte (black honey kinako, plain warabi mochi) I ordered these two this time! The dumplings are baked after you order them 👌 They are warm, fragrant, and chewy. They are small bite-sized, so children can enjoy them too◎ The warabi mochi latte is not too sweet and has a gentle flavor. It seems to be free of any additives, which is great for both your body and children◎ The most unique thing is the warabi mochi in the latte ✨ I'm completely smitten with this drink 🥰 It's not overly sweet, so I could finish it all!
A wide variety of mochi sweets (including various dango, warabi mochi, raw chocolate daifuku, strawberry daifuku, etc.) were available, and I was so overwhelmed with choices that I couldn't decide what to get. Warabi mochi sweets (warabi mochi drink) The warabi mochi drink was a strawberry milk-based drink with cherry blossom mochi warabi mochi inside. It was a cute and spring-like drink. It was visually appealing with its white and red colors, but the strawberry fruit pieces were so delicious that I was hooked. The chewy texture of the strawberry fruit pieces and the cherry blossom mochi warabi mochi was incredibly delicious, and the Japanese sweets feel were very soothing. I also had the raw chocolate daifuku wrapped in gyuhi, which was also delicious. The gyuhi was soft and smooth, and the cream and raw chocolate inside were a chocolate lover's dream. The fact that it wasn't too sweet was another plus. The two sweets complemented each other perfectly. They also had matcha and hojicha flavored warabi mochi drinks, so I'd like to try those next time.
The freshly baked "Funazuki Dango" at the Tsukiji Crossing is delicious! Located a 3-minute walk from Tsukiji Station, I visited "Eni Kaite Mochi." It's a relatively new shop that opened in March of this year. I arrived around 11:30 am on a Sunday and there was a line of people, but I was able to order quickly. I ordered the "Funazuki Dango" (with sesame sauce) for 330 yen. They bake the dango after you order, so it takes about 5 minutes. The freshly baked "Funazuki Dango" has such a wonderful aroma! The crispy exterior of the dango and the rich black sesame sauce are a perfect match, making it incredibly delicious. I devoured it in no time. It was truly enjoyable from start to finish.
Sweet Treats in Tsukiji Just a 3-minute walk from Tsukiji Station!! 『Enikaita Mochi』@enikaitamochi.tsukiji This shop, Enikaita Mochi Tsukiji, opened on March 20th this year! It's a wagashi (Japanese confectionery) shop that came all the way from Sapporo!! Apparently, their colorful sweets sell out every day in Sapporo for half a year😳 I tried: - Funazuki Dango (Mitarashi, Gomadare) ¥300 each - Warabi Latte (Kuromitsu Kinako x Kuromitsu Warabi Mochi) ¥630 - Warabi Latte (Matcha x Matcha Warabi Mochi) - Sicilia Pistachio Daifuku ¥420 - Chestnut Mont Blanc Daifuku ¥390 Funazuki Dango: They bake the dango after you order, so you can enjoy the freshly baked, chewy texture!! There are 3 types of dango (Mitarashi, Gomadare, Kuromitsu Kinako), and Mitarashi is apparently the most popular!! It would have been even more luxurious if they had anko (sweet bean paste) though, haha. Warabi Latte: You can choose one latte flavor (Matcha, Hojicha, Kuromitsu Kinako) and one powder warabi mochi (Matcha, Plain, Kuromitsu, Baked Sweet Potato, Sakura Mochi) from 5 options, making for a total of 15 combinations! Find the warabi latte that's perfect for you!! It's similar to a tapioca drink, but with a different, new texture! Daifuku, Sweet Daifuku: They sell everything from classic bean daifuku and mugwort daifuku to slightly more unique daifuku like berry daifuku and tiramisu daifuku😳 The chewy, stretchy daifuku is perfect for a snack! There are all sorts of sweets to eat on the go in Tsukiji, so be sure to try the sweets at "Enikaita Mochi" while you're walking around!
Located on the corner of the Tsukiji intersection, a new store opened on March 20th, specializing in Warabi Latte, Sweet Daifuku, and freshly baked mochi. The store offers a variety of Japanese sweets, including: * Funazuki Dango (Boat Dumplings) * Warabi Latte * Sweet Daifuku **Funazuki Dango** comes in three flavors: mitarashi (sweet soy sauce), goma (sesame), and kuromitsu kinako (black honey and soybean flour). The dango is grilled upon order and drizzled with homemade sauce. The freshly baked dango is piping hot! The surface has a light char, giving it a crispy texture, while the inside is soft and chewy. The mitarashi sauce is perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too salty. The goma sauce is made with a black sesame paste that is finely ground, so you don't taste the sesame seeds, but the flavor is rich and delicious. **Warabi Latte** comes in three flavors: kuromitsu kinako, matcha (green tea), and hojicha (roasted green tea). You can also add your choice of warabi mochi (jelly-like sweet potato mochi) to your latte. The warabi mochi comes in five flavors: plain, black sugar, baked sweet potato, matcha, and sakura mochi (cherry blossom mochi). The latte is topped with a generous amount of whipped cream. The latte is surprisingly not too sweet and is very refreshing. **Daifuku** comes in both traditional and pastry chef-inspired flavors: * Yomogi Daifuku (Mugwort Daifuku) * Nama Choco Daifuku (Raw Chocolate Daifuku) * Pistachio Daifuku * Mont Blanc Daifuku * Blueberry and Rare Cheese Daifuku * Tiramisu Daifuku * Shortcake Daifuku We visited the store as a couple and ordered the mitarashi and goma Funazuki Dango. For the Warabi Latte, we chose the kuromitsu kinako latte with black sugar warabi mochi and the matcha latte with sakura mochi. For the Daifuku, we chose the pistachio and Mont Blanc Daifuku. The Daifuku was freshly made and soft and delicious! There are chairs in front of the store where you can enjoy your treats. You can also take a stroll around Tsukiji while enjoying your snacks. The location attracts many tourists from overseas who line up for these delicious Japanese sweets. Japanese sweets are truly delicious! ❤️
