Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, easily accessible from Tokyo Station. The building is very impressive, and I was able to find this restaurant from the entrance without any trouble. The restrooms are also very close and clean. The restaurant has an open entrance, and the seating is limited, so it's not crowded and the noise doesn't bother you. I had a wonderful time with three close friends on a Saturday night, enjoying wine and a relaxing atmosphere. We were very satisfied. The food was delicious, as expected, and the staff were attentive, ensuring that dirty plates were cleared promptly, keeping the table clean at all times. They also provided excellent advice on what to order and how much, making it easy for us to choose the perfect dishes. It was a truly satisfying experience, both for our stomachs and our hearts. This is a wonderful restaurant that I would definitely recommend for a girls' night out.
The portions were generous, perfect for sharing among three people. The cold soup was packed with ingredients and incredibly delicious. However, overall, I didn't find the food or atmosphere particularly special. The wine prices were a bit steep.
This is a place I've been wanting to try for a while. The weekday lunch is ¥1,500 including tax. I had to wait a bit, but it was worth it. It seems to be popular with women. You can choose between salad or soup, and the main course has several options. I went with the salad and grilled mahi-mahi. A lot of people were having the grilled pork. The drinks were served in a pot at the table, and it wasn't water, but a light tea. The salad and bread came out first. The bread was warm. The salad was generous, and the mahi-mahi was also a good size. For ¥1,500, it's a good deal. You can get a lot of vegetables, so you can eat without feeling guilty. Next time, I'll try the pork grill that everyone else was having!
I arrived around 11:15 AM on a weekday and was seated immediately without a wait. However, by 11:15 AM, the restaurant was full. I ordered the cold potage and the chicken breast with an oriental flavor. The potage was cold and delicious. The chicken breast had a strong lemongrass flavor, which made me think, "Ah, this is truly oriental." The accompanying Thai rice was a nice touch. As a popular restaurant, there were many customers waiting. I thought the operation was quite fast.
The food and value are absolutely unbeatable! I visited for lunch on a weekday. I arrived at 11:50 and there were about 15 people waiting. I actually got in around 12:10. Since they open at 11:00, it seems like going before they open or around the time the first group leaves would result in less waiting. Alternatively, there was no line when I left around 1:00, so it's better to go at a different time. They take your order while you're waiting, but you can't enter unless everyone in your group is present. Weekday lunch is all set menus, with an appetizer (salad or soup, or both for an additional ¥300), main course, bread (refills available), and a drink. The drink is iced tea, not water, so it's essentially a drink included. For this location and quality, ¥1,500 is a steal. It's no wonder it's so popular and there's a line. Soup: The chilled potage is delicious and served in a stylish dish. If you're a light eater, the soup is recommended. Salad: There's a wide variety of vegetables, and it's generously dressed. It even has meat! The portion is twice the size of a typical lunch salad. If you have to choose between the two, the salad is recommended. Bread: It's served warm and has a crispy exterior, fluffy interior, and chewy texture. The whole wheat flavor is strong. I was able to get refills. Main: Thick-cut pork roast. It's so big, it's probably worth ¥2,000-¥3,000 on its own! 😳 The pork is incredibly thick, but it's so tender and moist that it cuts easily. The grill marks are fragrant. The mashed potatoes underneath and the mustard sauce are creamy and delicious, complementing the savory flavor. 😭 The accompanying vegetables include carrots, daikon radish?, onions, broccoli, and a generous amount of arugula. The service is also excellent. Everyone is quick, efficient, and polite. Nowadays, many places have a lot of foreign staff, but this place only seems to have Japanese staff. It's nice to be able to communicate quickly and have them anticipate your needs. The satisfaction level is so high that I regret not knowing about this place sooner. 😓 There are counter seats, so it's easy to go alone. They might even prioritize you if it's crowded. This place is already popular, but I secretly hope it doesn't get any more popular...
