Located in Shibuya's Hikarie, a popular shopping complex, is 'Paul Bassett,' a renowned espresso cafe owned by world barista champion Paul Bassett himself. While they are known for their coffee, they also offer a variety of delicious desserts. ☑︎ Fluffy Pancakes - ¥1,600 (with drink) This time, I ordered the pancakes with a drink. I was told it would take about 20 minutes, but since it wasn't busy, they arrived in about 10 minutes. They were kind enough to inform me about the quicker service. The pancakes were truly fluffy, just as the name suggests! They are made with a special recipe by their pastry chef. The simple toppings of butter, maple syrup, and fresh cream were incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The sandwich I had for lunch was delicious. The drip coffee is made with a machine and brewed in advance. I would love to see an option to add a specialty coffee for an extra charge, as I prefer freshly brewed coffee.

A true espresso haven dedicated to the finest "beans," "roasting," and "baristas"! Located within Shibuya Hikarie, it's incredibly convenient and perfect for a quick stop (๑˙꒳˙๑). This espresso cafe is by Paul Bassett, a world barista champion. They are absolutely committed to "beans," "roasting," and "baristas," roasting carefully selected coffee beans from around the world in their own roasting machine. You can enjoy world-class espresso made with only the freshest beans. ——When I visited—— Weekday cafe ——Reservation—— No reservation needed No wait ——Occasion—— Solo ——Cost—— ~¥1,000 ——Food—— ▶Espresso drink Long Black The aromatic espresso is topped with hot water, making it a refreshing and easy-to-drink beverage with a mild bitterness. ——Menu—— Espresso drinks ◇Long Black Hot ¥670 ——Service—— Just the right distance ——Value—— Considering its location in Shibuya Station Building, it's reasonably priced. The 50% off for your second drink is a nice bonus! ——Ambiance—— Cafe located within Shibuya Hikarie. Located just a minute's walk from JR Shibuya Station, this cafe is situated within Shibuya Hikarie. It's a cafe that has been selected as one of the '100 Best Cafes' and reflects the dedication of Paul Bassett, the World Barista Champion. The interior features rows of tables, with a large table in the back, making it suitable for larger groups. The casual decor creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. While known for its espresso, I opted for iced coffee due to the heat. It arrived in a tall glass, filled to the brim. The color was light, and the taste was fruity with a subtle acidity. There was minimal bitterness, leaving a clean and refreshing finish that made it easy to drink. Thank you for the delicious coffee.

Hello! I'm Harapecchan, always hungry! ————Store Details———————————— Store Name: Paul Bassett Nearest Station: 2-minute walk from Shibuya Station Address: 〒150-8510 2-21-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo ShinQs Toyoko Noren Street B2F Business Hours: Monday-Saturday: 11:00-21:00 Sunday/Holiday: 11:00-20:00 Closed: None Budget: ¥1000-¥2000 ———————————————————— This time, I went to 'Paul Bassett', a genuine espresso cafe by world barista champion Paul Bassett, just a 2-minute walk from Shibuya Station! They roast their own coffee beans, carefully selected from around the world, and manage their quality in Japan's first coffee bean cellar. They are committed to 'beans', 'roasting', and 'baristas', and their espresso drinks are rich and full-bodied, made with carefully selected coffee beans roasted in-house using a roasting machine installed in the store. They also have original cakes that change with the seasons, which are said to be carefully crafted to complement Paul Bassett's espresso. The combination of world-class espresso coffee and sweets made with only fresh beans is something you can only experience at 'Paul Bassett'! They are sure to create a new cafe culture in Japan, offering the best espresso and sweets, along with the best service. Takeout is also available, so you can enjoy the authentic Paul Bassett espresso at the office or at home for a luxurious and relaxing time. Menu I ordered this time 【Tiramisu】 The sponge cake soaked in plenty of coffee and the rich mascarpone cheese are layered, creating a very smooth and sophisticated flavor. 【Progres】 The cookie dough with almond and cinnamon and the butter cream are layered in multiple layers, creating a crispy texture. The caramelized hazelnuts on top are fragrant and delicious! This time, I used the cafe, but they also had food menu items like pancakes, galettes, and sandwiches, so I would like to visit again for lunch with delicious coffee. The food that the people around me ordered looked so delicious that I couldn't help but look at my neighbors ♡ The interior has a sense of openness with its depth, tables, and large tables. Harapecchan is full again this time! Thank you for the meal.
