This is an old-fashioned Japanese confectionery shop. The staff's service is also charming, in keeping with the shop's long history. I bought some mochi balls and kuzumochi. The kuzumochi needs to be cooked at home by pouring hot water over it, so I made it with my children. It was delicious. I will definitely visit again!

I was drawn in by the sign advertising 'Anmitsu'! I'm not a fan of 'tsubu an' (whole bean paste), but they had 'koshi an' (smooth bean paste) anmitsu here! The place has a retro vibe, and they have so many options, from 'tsubu an' and 'koshi an' anmitsu to even pudding, it's hard to choose! I'll definitely be back. It's also a great place to pick up souvenirs. The prices are reasonable, making it easy to buy. It's also conveniently located within walking distance from both Shintomicho Station and Tsukiji Station.

I absolutely love the anmitsu here. It's on my commute, so I tried the koshi anmitsu for 498 yen, and honestly, it was so delicious I want to buy it again tomorrow. The texture of the agar and the apricots is perfect, and all the ingredients are delicious, but the agar is definitely the star of the show. You can add as much of the separate syrup as you like, but... next time I'll try the mitsumame, or maybe the tsubuanmitsu or tokoro-ten... I want to try everything! I'll definitely be back. ^_^

I was drawn in by a sign I saw while walking and decided to stop by. It's easy to find if you turn from Shin-Ohashi-dori towards the Sumida River. I asked if they had kuzumochi in a cup, but they don't sell it that way, which was a bit disappointing. (It would probably get hard and dry if they cut the kuzumochi and put it in a cup.) Instead, I bought some tokoro-ten and enjoyed it at nearby Tsukiji River Park. The weather was quite warm, so the cool, smooth, and tangy tokoro-ten was perfect.

I stumbled upon this shop while strolling around. I was drawn to the honkaku kuzu pudding and decided to buy it.
