The "Tanuki" (raccoon dog) pastry is filled with plenty of sweet bean paste, while the "Momiji" (maple leaf) pastry is without any. Personally, I prefer the dough, so I'm a "Momiji" fan. But, I think "Tanuki" would be irresistible for those who love sweet bean paste. It's filled with so much of it. The "Tanuki" was cute.

After finishing my Tai Chi class at Termina, I always stop by the Marche on the lower ground floor and pick up some Ningyo-yaki (人形焼) to take home. The pastry is soft and moist, and the filling is delicious. Each one is quite large, so it's very satisfying.

The honey flavor is amazing. I personally don't like strong flavors, but the packaging is very stylish, from the box to the paper bag. It's all very chic.

I've bought these a few times, and they're delicious, moist, and traditional 'ningyo-yaki' (doll cakes). I highly recommend them as a souvenir from Kinshicho.

The design seems to change depending on the amount of red bean paste. I found it while walking and decided to go in. I ordered the "tanuki" (raccoon dog). I was told it has the most red bean paste, so I bought it for its cuteness more than the amount of red bean paste. But I was surprised by how much red bean paste there was and how delicious it was.
