This cafe is located in Terminal 3 of Tokyo International Airport. It's a pretty interesting place with a unique concept. The highlight is definitely the space where you can enjoy drinks and food while watching a planetarium show. The price is a bit higher than the general seating area, but it's definitely worth it. They also offer a variety of drinks, including coffee and alcohol. The food is also reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the airport, so you can easily have lunch here. I highly recommend their firm and satisfying pudding.
I went there around 1:30 PM on Saturday. The planetarium show time overlapped, so I had to wait for about 10 minutes. I ordered the following: Admission fee: 530 yen Cake set: Maple souffle pancake, 1230 yen It's a one-drink-per-person policy. You can also use the cafe without paying the admission fee. During the planetarium show, entry, exit, and ordering are all stopped, so be careful. I was able to see various planetarium shows, from explanations of the starry sky to movie-like ones. The seats are regular sofas, so there were some parts that were hard to see, and my neck got sore. Depending on the crowd, but on this day, I was not asked to leave even after being there for over two hours. It was nice to enjoy the planetarium with sweets and drinks. Thank you!
This cafe, operated by Pronto, allows you to enjoy a cup of tea or a meal while watching a planetarium show. Entry is generally restricted during screenings, so they have a timed entry system. Unfortunately, we had to wait over 40 minutes due to bad timing. We ordered a "Hot Coffee (¥750)" and an "Apple Juice (¥700)". There is a separate admission fee of ¥482 per person. The show we watched was "The Day We Saw a Black Hole." It tells the story of how researchers around the world came together to create a visual representation of the mysteries of black holes. It's a pretty interesting concept, combining a planetarium with a cafe. It's perfect for kids' summer learning. However, it was incredibly cold. We asked the staff to change seats, but they only said they would adjust the air conditioning. It remained freezing cold. (Free blanket service available)
The Planetarium Cafe at Pronto. While the planetarium fee is separate, there's no time limit, so you can relax and linger. It gets really dark during the show. The seats in the front row can strain your neck, so if you have a choice, seats closer to the entrance are recommended.
A stylish planetarium cafe ✨ I happened to be at the airport the other day and discovered this cafe, so I went in right away! 💕 Reservations aren't possible, so you have to wait in line and then order at your table after being seated. ✨ The planetarium programs range from 5 to 30 minutes in length, and you can order food or drinks, or come and go, only during the 15-minute break between programs. 💕 *Please note that the use of devices that emit light or sound, such as smartphones and cameras, is prohibited during planetarium screenings. ⚠️* The planetarium admission fee is: Adult (junior high school and above) ¥530 Child (2 years and above) ¥320 + A separate drink is required. The following are some examples of the menu: Tomato sauce set with eggplant and bacon ¥1,430 (excluding tax) Classic pudding set ¥1,180 (excluding tax) You can order from the menu at the nearby PRONTO. 💕 The prices are reasonable, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy a meal in such a beautiful planetarium space. 🥰 This cafe is perfect for families, couples, and various other occasions. 💕 If you're in the area, be sure to check it out! 🥰 Thank you for the meal! 🫶
