This is an old-fashioned soba noodle restaurant established in 1899. I recommend the value-for-money "Three-Color Soba Lunch" set. The seasonal soba noodles have a distinct flavor and are something I look forward to enjoying every month. For some reason, all the staff members are cute women. It's also great that they accept credit cards and PayPay.
A soba noodle shop located in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. I ordered the hand-kneaded soba (juwari soba). The soba had a distinct aroma and flavor that was truly enjoyable. The chewy texture was also very delicious. Thank you for the meal.
I went to this place because I heard that Banana Man's Setsurakun had visited here! My companion ordered the cold soba, so I tried a simple soba as well. The soba had a great flavor and was very delicious! And finally, I got to try the duck nanban! The duck was so tender, I was amazed! The broth with the duck flavor was the best, and it was the best soba I've ever had!!!
When visiting here, always start with "soba-mae" (appetizers before soba) ... From "staple dishes" to "seasonal specials," they never fail to satisfy customers. This is an old soba establishment with over 120 years of history. It gets crowded during lunchtime, but after 1:30 PM, it becomes more relaxed. Their continuous service is also appreciated. Today's finale was "Sarashina soba." Thank you for the meal. Visited on September 27, 2023. The final "Kamo Nanban" (duck and vegetable soup with soba noodles) was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Revisited on June 21, 2024.
I had the three-color seiro (steamed dish) and tempura set. I was expecting a lot based on the reviews. The soba was a standard 28% buckwheat (with a texture similar to 100% buckwheat), but the other noodles were like thin, white spaghetti that couldn't hold its shape and lacked any springiness. The tomato noodles were also disappointing. The tempura came with grated daikon radish and ginger, but there was no tempura dipping sauce. The soba didn't even come with wasabi. I'm not sure what they were thinking with this combination.
