Located just a few minutes' walk from Harajuku Station, this restaurant is a popular spot for enjoying delicious Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. **Exceptional Amatriciana** This dish features a rich tomato sauce made with pancetta and Awaji onions, simmered for three hours. The sauce clings perfectly to the chewy pasta, offering a spicy and flavorful experience. Freshly grated 24-hour aged Parmesan cheese adds a creamy touch and a delightful accent. **Bio Red Wine: Tranquille Rouge** ¥850 (¥935 including tax) France/Languedoc Varieties: Merlot, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah This wine boasts fruity notes of blueberry and blackcurrant, complemented by spicy nuances of dry herbs and green pepper. It has a smooth mouthfeel, balanced acidity, and rich tannins. The name "Tranquille" translates to "Let's take it easy!" and is known for its everyday enjoyment. The wine's strong aroma is particularly appealing to those who appreciate a good nose. Its clean palate gives way to a lingering, robust wine flavor. **Harajuku Dutch Pasta Labo** 1-10-37 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Cascade Harajuku 2F 03-6455-5210 @harajuku_dacci #HarajukuDutchPastaLabo #Amatriciana #HarajukuItalian #HarajukuGourmet #ShibuyaItalian #ShibuyaGourmet ✨ ---------------------------------------- ✨ Rey, a gourmet expert who dines out over 30 times a month, shares their favorite food recommendations daily. I visited during the Golden Week holidays! It was so crowded last time that I couldn't get in, but today I came early and it was empty. I ordered the special amatriciana for ¥1280 and the lunch set salad for ¥200 (with a drink). The salad was served on a nice small plate for the price, and the dressing was perfectly balanced. I knew this was a great place just from the salad! The amatriciana was perfect, with perfectly chewy pasta and just the right amount of salt in the sauce. It was the best pasta I've had in a long time. I also enjoyed adding a bit of the 'Hi-Sai' sauce from the table for a flavor change. I was very satisfied! For an extra ¥200, you can get a large portion, which I thought was a good deal. The music was pleasant and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Thank you for the delicious meal!
I researched various restaurants before going, and this one seemed promising, so I visited! I had the truffle and mushroom cream sauce. The noodles were a bit thick and chewy, and the sauce was rich but not heavy, so I devoured it. 🫰 The salad and drink set was very reasonable at 1980 yen, especially considering the use of truffles! However, I deducted one star because the iced drink didn't come with a straw... Other than that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made me feel good. 👌✨
I happened to be in Takeshita Street for an errand and stopped by for lunch. I wasn't expecting much when I saw the name "Pasta Labo," but the pasta was delicious and I was very satisfied. We were a group of two, but it felt like a place where you could dine alone. The prices were also quite reasonable. I would definitely consider coming back again if I'm in Harajuku.
I visited for lunch. The food was delicious. The restaurant is small and packed with seats, so it's close to the next table and the aisle is narrow, making it difficult for people with large luggage. I went on a hot summer day, and it was full, so it was hot inside with the heat of the people, and I wished they had turned the air conditioning on more. I was sweating the whole time. The staff looked hot too. But they were all smiling and providing great service, which was nice.
