I visited for lunch on a weekday. There was a 7-person wait, but I was able to get in after about 15 minutes. The interior was just as hot as outside, making it a tough environment in the middle of summer. This time, I ordered the "Grilled Silver Salmon + Nakaochi." The food was served right after I sat down, so the turnover was incredibly fast. It was a nice touch that they included two types of pickles. The large, thick-cut silver salmon was fluffy, with crispy skin, and the grilling was perfect! This might be the first time I've tasted such a rich, flavorful silver salmon. The saltiness was just right, and I would have loved to have a beer with it if it were evening. The Nakaochi also had a nice color. It was nicely marbled with fat, making it perfect for rice. The restaurant was small, but the service was attentive, making it a fantastic lunch experience! If you're in the neighborhood, be sure to check it out. ☺︎︎ Order List • Grilled Silver Salmon + Nakaochi 1600 yen • • ♪ About Me I go to eat at various places, including restaurants that I find on Google Maps and Tabelog, and those recommended by friends. I'd like to introduce them on Instagram, but I'm slacking off. @k.gourmeet I post on Google Maps and Tabelog, so please check them out.
I arrived at Uo-Take around 11:40 am on a weekday. There were already about eight people in line. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was able to enter. It was a cloudy day, and I was glad to be able to wait in the shade. The restaurant had about 10 seats at the counter. I ordered the "Sashimi 3-Piece Set Meal" for ¥1,400. The sashimi included tuna, scallop, and squid. While it wasn't exceptionally fresh or flavorful, it was still quite good. The rice was fluffy and delicious. Thank you for the meal.
I visited at 11:40 am on a weekday. There were already about 10 people lined up in front of the store. I waited in line for 20 minutes before entering. I ordered the grilled silver salmon set for ¥1,100 including tax. It was served within two or three minutes. I read that they grill the fish after taking the order, but I think they are constantly grilling to speed up the turnover. The meal included white rice, pickled plum, tofu miso soup, pickled napa cabbage, wakame seaweed salad, and grilled salmon. The salmon skin was crispy, the flesh was tender, and it was absolutely delicious. The miso soup was also piping hot and packed with ingredients. Both the rice and miso soup were refillable. I had a perfect lunch. I definitely want to go back.
It's close to my office, so I go there for both lunch and dinner. The grilled silver jacket fish is boneless and very delicious. For lunch, they have small side dishes like medium fatty tuna, zuke tuna, natto, and salad. There's always a line no matter what time you go for lunch, but I always crave it. They only open for dinner twice a week. The brothers cook together. The whole restaurant has a vibe of wanting you to enjoy delicious fish, which makes it a great place.
A place that feels like coming home. When I visited, the counter was full of regulars, but I was able to chat with the person next to me and had a wonderful time. Above all, the food is delicious. The sashimi platter featured seasonal flavors. The potato salad was light and easy to eat. The tamagoyaki was sweet and Kanto-style. The seared tuna belly was exquisite. For the finale, I had a cod roe onigiri and a miso soup with fresh seaweed. The miso soup warmed my heart and soul, a truly blissful experience. I don't want to recommend it, but I urge you to visit at least once!
