My friend from the countryside wanted to visit, so I went with them. I had seen it on social media and in the media, but I live in Tokyo, so I never had the chance to go, so I was happy. It was a weekend, but there was only one group waiting at the register. The cute interior is perfect for photo opportunities, so the wait time isn't too bad. I ordered a large cotton candy. It was 1000 yen including tax. It's not cheap, but the location and the visual appeal make it a reasonable price. Eating on the go is generally prohibited on Takeshita Street. They have created a shared eating space with other stores on the stairs outside, down from the store. There are also trash cans, so I ate there. The taste is just regular cotton candy. They have disposable wipes inside the store, so it's a good idea to take one with you.

It was a Saturday evening, but I was able to buy it in about 5 minutes! The way the lady who made it worked was so professional, it was fun to watch it grow bigger and bigger! I bought the biggest rainbow one, and she was kind enough to tell me that there was a bag to put the leftover cotton candy in!

It was a very fun experience, and my child loved it. Since we went on a holiday, there was a long line to get into the store. Even after entering, it was a slow, gradual progression. It felt like there were many foreign tourists, but the staff managing the line seemed to speak English, so even foreign visitors were able to wait in line without stress. It was very interesting to see cotton candy being made on the spot. The cotton candy is so big that if you buy one per person, you probably won't be able to finish it. Your tongue will be a crazy color. It was a fun store, I thought.

You go up to the second floor of the building. Colorful cotton candy is displayed inside the shop, and the color scheme is cute. It's fun to watch the staff make the cotton candy. It can't be helped, but there's only space under the shop to eat, even though eating on the go is prohibited.

Definitely Instagram-worthy! My tongue turned purple and red, making the experience a bit of a struggle until I finished eating. But it's so photogenic that foreigners kept asking to take pictures with me, making me feel like a celebrity! The price is a bit steep though.
