The price of ¥440 is a bit iffy, but I guess it's not exactly expensive... I stopped by the Gâteau Harada in the station because I was tempted by a LINE news article I saw on my way out. I didn't know it was located in this underground area on the north side. I think the drinking district I went to before was also around here (north passageway), on the Marunouchi side, right? I couldn't figure out where to buy it, so I asked at the counter in the back left corner of the area, and they told me that both takeout and eat-in orders are placed through the machine at the front. I like vanilla, but I'm a little wary of milk, so I got a mix of matcha and milk. Personally, I would have preferred chocolate. Also, the online news article said there were rusks at the bottom of the soft serve... but there weren't any, which was a bit disappointing. I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't known, but what was that news article all about? ¥440 Soft Serve (Matcha & Milk)

I visited Gâteau Festa Harada Gransta Tokyo! Gâteau Festa Harada was founded in 1901, making it a long-established brand. Their Gâteau Rusk Gouté de Roi is incredibly famous. There are only about seven seats, but luckily, two were available! You can also get takeout, but it's nice to be able to sit down. ☺️ First, you buy a ticket. There are many different kinds. They only accept cash or IC cards! No credit cards, so be careful. Soft Cream de Roi ¥400 Hot Sandwich de Roi Sommelier ¥480 I definitely wanted to try the soft cream, but the hot sandwich has rusk inside, so I wanted to try that too. They call your number at the cafe counter, and you go pick it up. Wow! 💖 A rusk is stuck in the soft cream. For ¥400, it's a great value! It's also rich and delicious—my daughter kept nodding in agreement. There's also crunchy crushed rusk at the bottom of the soft cream. What a great menu idea! 💕 It's truly a recommended soft cream. The hot sandwich takes a while to prepare because it's served piping hot, but you can spend that time browsing the products, and the time flies by. The hot sandwich is wrapped in elegant paper and is piping hot. The cheese stretches, and there's crunchy Gouté de Roi Sommelier rusk between the ham, giving it a unique texture. There are Tokyo-exclusive rusks that you can choose one by one and have them put in a cute box for a gift! Next time, I might buy some Tokyo souvenirs here. They'd make great little gifts. The boxes are so cute, it'll be hard to choose. The Soft Cream de Roi at Gâteau Festa Harada Gransta Tokyo is delicious, so you have to try it!

The flow of the eat-in area is terrible. You can't enter without buying a food ticket, but you have to line up before getting the ticket. If that's the case, it would be better to line up in front of the ticket machine. People just bypass the ticket machine and line up. The staff in uniform seem to think this is normal, and they don't seem to consider how confusing it might be for customers. It's extremely disappointing. The coffee jelly with soft serve ice cream was good. There were a few biscuits at the bottom, and they were delicious. The jelly was sweet, and the soft serve was rich. The matcha latte had a weak matcha flavor, and it came with a rusk, but it was too watery and disappointing. Overall, everything was quite sweet. It's truly an eat-in area, so there are no tables where you can sit facing each other.

This is the Tokyo Station branch of Harada's Rusk shop, a popular bakery from Gunma Prefecture. ✨ They offer a wide variety of rusks and other sweets, and there's also a cafe space. The cafe menu seems to change seasonally, offering treats like soft serve ice cream, coffee, and hot sandwiches. ^ ^ The cafe is spacious and has a white theme, making it a great place to shop, have a cup of tea, and enjoy some sweets. I love it here! They also have gift boxes where you can include 1-2 rusks for a special present.

This is a shop located inside the train station. Their soft serve ice cream comes with crushed rusk at the bottom of the cup and rusk as a topping! You can't buy a ticket unless there's a seat available. There are only about 7 seats, so if there's a group of two who don't understand the situation, you'll have to wait. It's a great shop because you can also buy rusk separately 😊
