【Heavenly Heights】 High ceilings, open and airy atmosphere. Terrace seating available (dogs welcome). Located about a 7-minute walk from Omotesando Station's B2 exit. It's a bit off the main street, so it's surprisingly quiet for Omotesando. I visited on a weekday, so there were few other customers, but I'm not sure about weekends. The service was excellent, and the staff maintained a good distance. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for strollers. However, the restrooms are located on the basement level, so be aware of that. The basement restrooms are spacious and luxurious. There's also a sushi bar on the same floor, which was a surprise. It seems like a good place for business dinners and receptions. The food was all delicious. The scallops, which are an additional ¥500, are highly recommended.
I made a reservation online and visited on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the standard lunch course. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, creating a lovely atmosphere, and the interior is sophisticated. The food was more substantial than I expected, flavorful, and delicious! The ingredients were used to their full potential. I highly recommend this restaurant for girls' gatherings, dates, and anniversaries.
GENTLE Italian&Sushi Bar in Omotesando. The area around the entrance, no, the entire space is stylish and green. The ordering method was unusual, allowing you to choose four dishes from appetizers, pasta, main courses, and desserts. I opted for two appetizers and skipped dessert. Here's what I had: ● Arugula, Parmesan, and Prosciutto Insalata It's impossible to go wrong with this. The arugula, cheese, and prosciutto were delicious! ● Seared Scallops with Sweet Corn Foam and Sakura Shrimp The scallops were thick and juicy, with a rich sauce that could easily have been the main fish dish. ● Basil Pesto with Octopus, Shirasu (Whitebait), and Edamame Orecchiette I chose this one because it's a safe bet, and I wasn't wrong! (laughs) It's impossible to go wrong with this. The saltiness and umami of the shirasu perfectly complement the pesto sauce. ● Grilled Lamb Chops with Salsa Mantovana The lamb had a delicious, characteristic flavor. The meat was already removed from the bone, but I still gnawed on the bone anyway! (laughs)
This hidden gem in the heart of Tokyo, near Omotesando, feels like a secret oasis! Authentic Edomae sushi. I was recently invited for a girls' lunch. It's a little over a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station or Omotesando Station. As you enter National Route 246, you'll see a building covered in greenery. The SUSHI Bar is located in the basement. There's a SUSHI counter on the left side of the dimly lit, moody space. This place is actually a hidden gem. I've been here a few times, but this was the first time I met the sushi chef who served me. I was surprised to learn he was from a famous restaurant in a hotel I frequent, which made me feel a connection. ~Nigirizushi Lunch~ The lunch included 10 pieces of nigiri (+ egg, inari), a tempura roll, a small dish with ikura and uni, a small appetizer, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), and dessert. Even with a variety of toppings, the rice portions were small, so I felt a sense of accomplishment when I finished everything. (Usually, I can't finish it all!) They use red vinegar rice depending on the type of fish, which is a testament to their dedication. The quiet, elegant atmosphere, stylish interior, and authentic Edomae sushi make this a hidden gem in Omotesando. The manager was also very attentive.
Each plate was beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant's atmosphere was also great, and its location in a bustling area was a plus. There's a sushi bar in the basement, which I was curious about, but this time I went for the French restaurant upstairs. The meat was absolutely delicious.
