I went to this place because I was craving pancakes. I was also hungry, so I ordered a curry rice set (¥1150, bad value) and a single pancake (¥650) at the register on the first floor. Since the first floor was full, I sat at an empty table on the second floor. Water and towels are self-service. The food and drinks arrived in about 10 minutes. The curry rice tasted like it was made with a retort pouch of Bon Curry. The portion size was too small for a man. The pancake was quite small. If I had ordered the pancake set (¥950), I think the value would have been terrible. The coffee wasn't good. Even convenience store coffee is better. The atmosphere of the store felt old, not in a charming retro way, but just plain old and not very clean. I won't be going back.

The iced coffee had a strong, delicious bitterness, while the hot coffee had a mellow, satisfying flavor. The classic pizza toast, a staple of Japanese coffee shops, was delicious with its crisp onions and peppers. The sweet and savory ogura toast was also excellent, with a sweet bread and a touch of saltiness. The atmosphere of the shop was very pleasant, and I enjoyed relaxing by the window, watching the city go by.

The shop has a historical feel to it. Stepping inside, you're greeted by a slightly cluttered, retro atmosphere. There's a second floor, and it seems heated tobacco is allowed up there. This time, I had the morning set on the first floor. I don't eat breakfast very often, so I'm not sure, but a morning set until 11 am seems pretty long. There are a lot of regulars, so you might feel a little out of place at first. It's a shop that's deeply rooted in the local community, so I guess that's unavoidable. Thanks for the meal!

This was the most disappointing cafe experience I've had in recent years. I was guided to the second floor this time, but when being led to the second floor, you have to order at the register before going up. The staff gave me the impression that they were impatient, and I didn't have time to look at the menu leisurely. Also, at that time, there was a lot of traffic with people entering and leaving the store, so the register area became crowded. A regular male customer sitting by the window started complaining about being bothered, which was quite unpleasant. I think it was just a bad coincidence, but I also felt bad when customers who came in after me were prioritized. If they had just said something like, 'If you need more time to decide on your order, we'll let the people behind you in first,' I wouldn't have felt anything about being prioritized, and I might have even felt sorry for them. At that point, I wanted to leave, but it was hot outside and I was very thirsty, so I went inside. The second floor was spacious and there was only one other group there. Since the staff wasn't stationed there, I was able to calm down my agitated feelings. If you want to spend time quietly, the second floor is recommended. The amount of cold drinks was smaller compared to other cafes. The lemon tart (or was it lemon cake?) was refreshing and very good as a summer cake. The retro atmosphere was nice, and I had been looking forward to visiting this place for a long time, but I don't think I'll ever go back.

This is a coffee shop I visited for the first time. It's a 3-minute walk from Kinshicho Station. I visited "Kissa Mountain", a coffee shop with a Showa era vibe. Here's what I had: Hotcakes with a drink for ¥950 Two fluffy, soft hotcakes. They were sweet and delicious even on their own. It's a simple hotcake, but the taste varies from shop to shop, making it fun to go on a coffee shop tour. They had a morning service like in Nagoya, with coffee, tea, or milk, plus toast, salad, and a boiled egg or sausage for ¥400, which is a great deal. Morning service is from 8:00 to 11:00. Thank you for the meal!
