This will likely lead to even larger crowds, probably due to the increased visibility. Donremi is a popular sweets brand that everyone has likely tried at least once. At their outlet store, you can enjoy their classic roll cakes and puddings, as well as seasonal items and slightly older products, all at great prices.

I found some amazing deals on items with an "expiration date today" at the outlet. On this particular day, coffee jelly was 50 yen and salt caramel banana parfait was 100 yen, both with an expiration date of that day. They had a whole bag of leftover sponge cake pieces for 50 yen. I bought two pieces of the sponge cake for 100 yen, and I was shocked! For 100 yen? It's unbelievable in this high-inflation era. I enjoyed my snacks by the nearby Shinobazu Pond. It was a fun experience to browse, buy, and eat at this store.

I visited on July 19, 2024. I had been wanting to go for a while and finally made it. It's a sweets outlet, so you can buy things at a discount. Looking around, you'll want everything! They offer ice packs for a fee, which is reassuring for longer trips home. The sweets were delicious.

So much fun! They have a wide variety of sweets, from Western pastries to Japanese confectionery, and everything is just a little bit charming. There are often lines, but they move quickly. You can buy cakes and sweets and take a stroll through Ueno Park, or you can hole up in a nearby hotel. When you're in Ueno, you tend to look for old and fun shops in the city, but this place lets you experience the Ameya-Yokochō atmosphere in one place.
