I visited during the Asakusa Sanja Matsuri festival. It was incredibly crowded and hot, but the street where this shop is located was less crowded, allowing me to sit and take a break while enjoying a drink. I tried the strawberry tequila out of curiosity, and it was delicious. I also had a strawberry sour and some dango. The strawberry sour had a refreshing taste. They also had a strawberry beer, so I'll have to try that next time. It was a fun Asakusa sightseeing experience, with lots of unusual drinks to try.
Asakusa Nakamise-dori was bustling with foreign tourists today! Even on a weekday, I was swept away by the vibrant energy of Asakusa... lol 😆 My throat was parched, and I spotted a strawberry smoothie, so I had to try it! It was a bit pricey, but it was delicious.
I was satisfied with the sweet and tart deliciousness of all the strawberry products. I visited on Saturday and there was a line of seven people. You can eat inside the store, and some people were drinking outside with their takeout. Asakusa Strawberry Seat is always popular, no matter when you visit. I ordered strawberry mochi and a strawberry smoothie. I always order them when I visit.
It's located on the left side, just before Sensoji Temple, if you turn right after walking straight down Nakamise-dori from Kaminarimon. The strawberries are large and the combination of the slightly sweet red bean paste and the tartness of the strawberries is perfect. Highly recommended.
I had strawberry beer and daifuku. The strawberry daifuku was ordinary, no different from what you'd find at a convenience store. It's all about the location, atmosphere, and service for foreign visitors! The strawberry beer was made right in front of me, but it was just strawberry syrup mixed with beer! It's okay, I guess. The strawberry syrup wasn't evenly distributed, so the strawberry flavor was barely noticeable.
