We decided to try a new restaurant for lunch in Ueno, so we made a reservation based on photos of the appetizers and online reviews. We arrived before opening and there was already a line, but the staff were very welcoming and efficient. There were four of us (my parents in their 70s, my husband, and myself). We each ordered a different lunch menu: rotisserie chicken, pasta, hashed pork, and the special of the day. My parents really enjoyed the special fish dish, which was tender and served with a delicious burdock root sauce. They also found the hashed pork seasoning to be just right, not too strong. My husband's chicken came with a spiced salt that was also great with the butter rice. I ordered the tuna and mushroom pasta, which was packed with ingredients and very tasty. My parents were very happy with the meal, especially the generous salad, and said they would definitely go back. We'll definitely be visiting again when we're in Ueno.

One of the best cafes I've been to. The rotisserie chicken is definitely the star of the show, and the interior design, atmosphere, and seating are all very stylish and comfortable. The staff is also very attentive and helpful. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the food and the experience are definitely worth it. Everything I tried was delicious, but the appetizers were particularly impressive. They were clearly made with care and went perfectly with the drinks. The pound cake for dessert was also excellent, with a subtle sweetness that paired well with the coffee. Personally, I loved the all-you-can-drink option they had during lunchtime (¥880). It was amazing! I visited in 2021.

I recently went to Ueno for a day trip and had lunch there. I decided to try this place because of the good reviews, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and there was nothing to complain about. The rotisserie chicken was especially tasty, and the appetizers were full of vegetables. The cold soup that came with the appetizers was also very good. The price wasn't too high, so I think it's a very accessible place. It was lunchtime, so there was a bit of a wait because a lot of people working in the area were there, but we were seated quickly. I definitely want to go back next time I'm in the neighborhood!

I went there around 5 PM on Sunday. Since it was right after opening, there weren't many people at first. As I was eating, more and more customers started coming in, and by 6:30 PM, about 80% of the seats were filled. I forgot to record the menu names and prices, but I ordered things like potatoes, prosciutto, and cake. Everything was delicious, but the prosciutto was especially good! It melted in my mouth.

I visited around 11:30 am without a reservation. The restaurant was quite crowded, with a few spots available at the counter and on the terrace. I opted for the terrace seating. I ordered the 1/4 size rotisserie chicken plate for lunch. It came with a salad, chicken, drink, and dessert, making it a great value for the price. The chicken was crispy on the outside and had a light flavor, making it very easy to eat. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again!
