This Italian restaurant, located in the back alleys of Nihonbashi Takashimaya s.c., specializes in homemade fresh spaghetti. I ordered the "Chicken Minced Meat with Bone Marrow Salt Butter Soup Pasta" (¥1,350). I chose this dish because I wanted to try their signature "Chicken Minced Meat with Bone Marrow." The pasta comes with a salad and flavored tea. The fact that the menu expands after 1:00 PM is a thoughtful service that considers both operational efficiency and repeat customers. The prices are also reasonable, starting from ¥900, making it a great value for money.
● Crowdedness I called on a weekday to check availability and was able to make a reservation because there were seats available! The restaurant was already bustling with customers. It might be a good idea to make a reservation. ● Food We had salad, shrimp ajillo, a pork loin dish (I forgot the name), a prosciutto dish (I forgot the name), chicken mince pasta, and a few drinks. The pork loin dish was a bit bland, but the chicken mince pasta was particularly flavorful and delicious! ● Overall Impression The food was delicious and the restaurant had a stylish atmosphere. It was a great experience!
I had the chicken cartilage mince with cilantro pasta for lunch on a weekday! The pasta was chewy and the flavor was strong, with cilantro and lemon adding a refreshing touch. It was a unique type of pasta that I had never tasted before, and it was both fresh and delicious. The complimentary tea was also a flavored tea, which was calming. The restaurant's interior is stylish and feels carefully designed. The space is not very large, so I had a little trouble finding a place to put my belongings. I was able to get in right away without waiting outside, but it was crowded the entire time I was there! I want to try the other flavors, so I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!
I ordered the "Raw Spaghetti with Chicken Minced Meat and Coriander" for 1300 yen. ◆Location…☆3 It's a 2-minute walk southwest from Nihonbashi Station. It's on the first floor of a five-story office building, facing a street lined with office buildings and houses, a little way in from the Showa-dori side of a narrow street two blocks south of the wide Eitai-dori. ◆Layout and Interior Design…☆3 There are seven two-person tables on the right as you enter, a six-seat counter on the left, and the kitchen in front of it. The interior has a European feel with beige walls, a rough-hewn wooden counter, and black leather chairs. ◆Operation and Atmosphere…☆3 There is one male chef in the kitchen and one female staff member who handles both the kitchen and serving. It was a rainy day, but the atmosphere was casual, with office workers coming in for a quick lunch. The background music was upbeat jazz, like Sarah Menescal. ◆Food…☆3 The salad was lettuce, cucumber, mizuna, and corn with a light dressing, and it was crisp and delicious. The pasta was made with fresh noodles, so it had a chewy texture. I added coriander for an extra 100 yen, which added a refreshing touch to the rich chicken mince. As a vegetable lover, it was exactly what I expected. The drink was a flavored tea served like water, which allowed me to relax a little after the meal.
I visited during the weekday lunch hour. The tables were full, but there were a few seats at the counter, so I was able to be seated without waiting. I ordered the famous chicken mince pasta with cartilage and waited. The flavored tea in the lunch set tasted like Earl Grey tea. It didn't have a strong aroma, so I think even those who don't like Earl Grey would be fine with it. It was delicious. The salad had a pink dressing, so I wondered what it would taste like, but it was a normal flavor with a slight sourness, which was good. And the main course, the fresh pasta, was definitely delicious. For me, the saltiness was a bit strong, and I would have preferred it to be a little more subdued, but considering the restaurant's overall offering, that level of saltiness is probably necessary. The portion size was modest, so men might want to consider ordering a large portion.
