The Starbucks in Ningyocho! There are a few seats on the first floor, but there are more seats in the basement. I was able to relax and enjoy my time. There were people working and taking a break.

A Starbucks located in Ningyocho, a charming district with a rich history and traditional atmosphere. It has a first floor and a basement floor, with the basement being particularly spacious and perfect for relaxing. This area was once bustling with puppet makers during the Edo period, known for its joruri (Japanese puppet theater) and kabuki performances. Ningyocho still retains a strong sense of its past. A cup of coffee might be the perfect companion for exploring the streets. Added on July 14, 2024: I visited this Starbucks for the second time after visiting Kayabacho. It's not a place I would visit often unless I was on a Starbucks tour, but on this day, with a rare sunny break in the middle of the rainy season, the humidity was intense. The first floor of the store was slightly cool, but the seats near the bottom of the stairs felt a bit chilly, as if the cold air was pooling there. It was a great way to cool down after walking around outside.

Ningyocho is a battleground for local coffee shops and chain cafes. The first floor has limited seating, but the basement is spacious. The layout has been changed several times, leading to its current form. It's a shop that has become a familiar part of the neighborhood. Today, I had almond milk at ☕️ Bellona. 🤔

This store has seating in the basement. Although it's underground, it's spacious and comfortable.
