Day three of our family trip. We visited a pumpkin farm. I love pumpkins and I love Godiva. There's no Godiva cafe in Nagoya, so I treated myself to a splurge. I ordered everything pumpkin, and the staff was surprised. The first thing that came out was the drink. It was a drink made with plenty of pumpkin puree from Fukui Prefecture's Tomitsu pumpkin. It tasted like pumpkin pudding and was delicious. The ganache in the parfait, made with Tomitsu pumpkin puree, was chocolate-colored but had a strong pumpkin flavor. It was a strange sensation, chocolate-colored but tasting like pumpkin. The layered white chocolate mousse, pistachio chocolate mousse, and hojicha jelly were perfectly balanced. It was sweet, slightly bitter, but the main pumpkin flavor was fully enjoyed. The crunchy texture was also great, and it was very delicious. The French toast was made with Godiva cafe's original batter and baked in a campagne style. The French toast had a slightly firm texture but was smooth on the palate. The chocolate-colored ganache was, again, pumpkin flavored. It was another strange sensation. It had a crunchy texture, making it fun to eat. The slightly bitter chocolate and pumpkin flavors were enjoyable, and it was very delicious. Godiva quality, so the appearance was amazing and the taste was the best. Eating it with my children made it even more delicious. Thank you for the happiness. It was a delicious meal. 2024. ◆ Dessert Drink: Fukui Tomitsu Pumpkin Pumpkin Pudding ◆ Fukui Tomitsu Pumpkin Chocolate Parfait ◆ French Toast: Fukui Tomitsu Pumpkin Mousse ◆ Black Cat Collection: Pumpkin Langue de Chat Cookies, 4 pieces ◆ Chocolate Melon Pan
I was drawn into the store by a delicious-looking poster advertising GODIVA chocolate shaved ice (placed at the entrance). It cost 917 yen including tax, which I thought was quite affordable for GODIVA. I was excited, expecting it to be absolutely delicious. The texture was amazing, and the sweetness and aroma were refined... It was absolutely delicious. I was completely satisfied. I was sweating profusely, so it was perfect timing to cool down. I think this is the only place that serves this. I felt like I got a great deal and was very happy.
I stopped by for a light breakfast. It was past 9 am, so it was empty. It's located in the basement just inside the Yaesu Exit, so it's convenient for waiting for the Shinkansen. I'm not particularly interested in chocolate or GODIVA itself, so I don't have any special feelings about the menu, but there are large, comfortable chairs, so you can relax even if you're alone. It's a place that can be used for light meetings. You order and pay at the counter when you enter. It's a self-service system where you pick up your order when your number is called. They accept barcode payments. You also clear your own table.
I visited the Godiva Cafe located in the basement of Tokyo Station. Besides the table seating, there were individual high-back sofa seats in the back, and I ate there. (The sofas were quite dirty with spilled chocolate 😂) The atmosphere is good, with a Tiffany-esque feel. I ordered a chocolate drink and cake. The banana chocolate drink was more like something to eat than drink. It was very sweet. The cake, on the other hand, was a chocolate cake worthy of a chocolate specialty store. It was more like raw chocolate than sponge cake. This cake wasn't very sweet and had a Godiva-like feel. The atmosphere is like a Starbucks with chocolate drinks, and it's pretty good. It's in a great location, right across from a Starbucks. If Starbucks is classical, then this is like Disney...
I used it for morning coffee! The location is right by the Yaechika entrance, so it's convenient even before taking the train. However, the order took a while. It seems like it would be faster without a cashier, so it would be great if they had mobile ordering! The store has plenty of single seats.🕊️
