This cafe is located on the storefront side of the Daiei supermarket near Toyosu Station. It's situated in a U-shaped space overlooking the sea, surrounded by high-rise condominiums. The building's facade, with its dark brown exterior and large glass windows, immediately suggests a stylish establishment, even from afar while walking along the running course. Inside, there are counter seats and tables by the large glass windows. On the opposite wall side, there are tables and a raised tatami seating area where you can relax without shoes. Both the wall side and counter seats have power outlets, and some people were working there. It seemed comfortable. This time, I visited for tea and ordered some sweets. The pudding was sold out, so I had the classic pancakes. They were three thin pancakes stacked with a large scoop of ice cream on top. The buttery flavor was delicious. For my drink, I had a hot Darjeeling tea. It was a tea bag, but the flavor was excellent. The aroma was also strong, making me wonder if it was a good brand. Personally, I found it very enjoyable. Daiei is located at the base of the reclaimed land that houses the Toyosu Market. It must be an indispensable supermarket for the residents of the surrounding condominiums. The cafe at its entrance is likely beloved by locals. The area in front of the building is a wooden deck, and some people were relaxing on the steps. If I lived nearby, I might visit this cozy cafe frequently.
A brand new cafe with stunning views opened on November 19, 2022, on the terrace side of the canal at the Toyosu branch of Daiei. NA cafe is reportedly a sister store of "en cafe (η)" in Kuramae, Tokyo, known for its cookies, cream cheese cake, and parfaits. I enjoyed their highly recommended cafe latte and grilled potatoes π. The cafe latte was served in a large cup, generously filled. The barista, who seemed experienced, carefully prepared the latte art, making it a delicious treat. The grilled potatoes were small and round, cute and fluffy. They were delicious on their own, but I also enjoyed dipping them in the sour cream and chili sauce dip for a change of flavor. The portion was surprisingly generous, making it a satisfying meal. The view overlooking the canal creates a relaxing atmosphere, offering a sense of tranquility.
## Na cafe ## Located right by the Tokyo Electric Power Company canal, it was absolutely charming. The sky was beautiful that day, and it was heartwarming to watch people walking their dogs and children running around while enjoying the view. **Lemon Pie with Ice Cream Β₯1200 (tax included)** I'm not very good at eating, but the lemon-flavored cream was refreshing and tangy π. It was full of cream and made me happy. **Chai Latte (HOT/ICED) Β₯650 (tax included)** There are counter seats with charging outlets, making it a great place to work. The window seats fill up quickly, so it's best to go early. There are also tatami seating areas, making it friendly for families with young children. It's located inside the Daiei Toyosu store.
This is the perfect spot for a relaxing break after a stroll or a shopping trip at Daiei. Their matcha terrine and pudding desserts are delicious! They have counter seats with charging stations, regular tables, and even a tatami seating area in the back. The view in front is open, so you can enjoy the bright sunshine from any seat.
We visited with two people and ordered chiffon cake, pudding, coffee, and a cafe latte. The only sweets available were these two and a few baked goods. The matcha chiffon cake was visually appealing, but the cake itself seemed a bit coarse. I considered ordering a soy latte, but it was a bit pricey. The prices were a bit high, maybe Toyosu prices? The chiffon cake was especially expensive! But I guess it's unavoidable with the rising cost of ingredients... The pudding was delicious. The cafe latte cup was cute. The atmosphere and staff were great, and the view outside the window was nice, so we were able to relax.
