◆Ordered Items Friend: Beef 100% Ground Hamburger + Set A (Salad, Soup) - 1100 + 200(?) yen - Myself: Superfood Deli Plate (8 varieties + Whole Wheat Bread) - 1200 yen - Okara Banana Cake + Blend Coffee - 400 yen - (→ Individual prices: 200 yen, 300 yen. Maybe it's cheaper because it's a set...?) ◆Review I visited on May 1st (Wednesday, Holiday) a little after 11:00 AM. It seemed to open at 11:00 AM, but some of the lights in the deli case were off, and I was worried, "Are they open?" But they turned on the lights a little later when they noticed us. Overall, the staff gave off an unfriendly impression... There are 26 seats and it's completely non-smoking. (4-5 tables for two people) There are many stylish counter seats, so I think it's easy for one person to go in. Regarding the food, as it promotes low-carb, high-protein, and low-fat, it seemed to have a variety of ingredients suitable for dieting, such as tuna, chicken thigh meat, white fish, and vegetables. As someone who goes to RIZAP, it's one of the few valuable places. However, the nutritional information only shows the protein content, so even though it's low-carb and low-fat, it feels half-baked for people who need to calculate everything carefully (like me, lol). This time, I ordered the 8-variety deli plate because I wanted to try various side dishes, but I regretted that the protein per meal was too much. (RIZAP recommends about 20-25g.) However, everything tasted delicious, and the bread was whole wheat (a great bread that significantly cuts down on carbs... ! I think! Lol. I want the nutritional information...) and toasted, so I was satisfied. I forgot the name, but the bean, pumpkin, and sweet potato salad in the upper left corner was sweet and very delicious. (Is it really low-carb...? I don't know because there's no indication. Sweet potatoes are high in carbs...) The bottom left was salmon with sesame dressing? That was delicious too. The ratatouille was a classic flavor. If you like tomato sauce, it's a must-try. The superfood in the upper right was a bit of a mystery... Was it made with only egg whites? I had the okara banana cake for dessert, and it tasted like it was priced accordingly. It uses lakanto instead of sugar, so it's not as sweet as regular ones, but it's good that they have a substitute for those on a diet, so it's a plus. Regular people should not expect too much... The blend coffee was a bit bitter for me, but it was delicious. While I'm focusing on low-carb, I'm actively consuming fat as an energy source (based on my experience, if I live on 7.80% of my daily calorie intake, my muscles will also decrease...), so I think Total Foods' meals are better suited for dinner. There's also a gym attached, so this place is probably great for those who train there because they can easily get a balanced meal. Also, there are many menu options, not just deli, but also gluten-free pasta, curry, soup, tortillas, etc., so it's suitable for various people. When I'm looking for low-carb food in the city for lunch, I'm going to add this place to my list of options.
The meals at Total Foods are well-balanced and I enjoy the flavors. I make a point of going there whenever I feel like I've been eating an unbalanced diet lately.
I wasn't expecting much in terms of flavor since it was a 'diet curry,' but to my surprise, it was surprisingly delicious. I've been going there regularly. You don't have to be a member of Total Workout to eat there. The curry and brown rice come in at under 500kcal. The brown rice is firm and chewy, which makes you feel full.
A food that's a battle between stoicism and deliciousness. Stoicism seems to win out in this case. The menu features high-protein, low-fat, and low-sodium dishes with high nutritional value. It would be great if they had vegan options, though.
