I stopped by for a quick coffee break before heading to MOT, and was invited in. It's an antique shop with a coffee and dessert cafe attached. The pleasant atmosphere and beautiful interior made for a truly delightful break. Thank you for the treat!
Visited in 2020. This antique shop tucked away in a back alley also doubles as a cafe. Finding it was a truly serendipitous encounter. The interior is filled with antique furniture and trinkets. You can browse and purchase them, of course, but enjoying a cup of tea surrounded by antiques is also a great option. It's a hidden gem, so you can relax and unwind. I ordered their homemade ginger ale (¥700). The taste of freshly grated ginger is strong and quite stimulating. It's a pleasantly spicy drink, if you will. The gentle sweetness and carbonation add to the experience, and the lime finish creates a refreshing taste. It's a very satisfying drink on a hot day.
I had the pleasure of enjoying delicious coffee and homemade sweets surrounded by beautiful antique interiors. The coffee had a mellow acidity and a robust flavor, a truly sophisticated taste. My personal recommendation for the sweets is the chocolate terrine, with its exquisite balance of melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich flavor. The owner's warm personality attracts many customers who come to enjoy conversation, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere.
A stylish and comfortable antique shop and cafe. It's a hidden gem and highly recommended cafe in Kiyosumi Shirakawa.
