I was the first to visit since it just opened. It's located next to the Tokyo Kaikan, and since there was a performance that day, only terrace seating was available. It was cloudy, so it was cool and not many people came, so I was able to relax. The lemon squash was also delicious, even though it was a bit weak in carbonation.

We stopped by after visiting the National Museum of Nature and Science. We had walked quite a bit inside the museum, so we wanted to grab a late lunch and take a break. It was around 2 pm, and there was a long line, which made us hesitate initially. However, the line was moving quickly, so we decided to wait. Near the register, there was a menu board, and people were already deciding what to order, so the staff was able to take orders quickly. After ordering, we were given an electronic buzzer and told to wait at our table. When the food was ready, the buzzer went off, and we went to the register to pick it up. We ordered beef stew and iced coffee. The stew came in a paper container, which felt a bit plain and the portion was small, but it tasted good. The iced coffee also had a strong flavor that didn't get lost in the ice, and it was delicious.

I went to see a ballet performance and used the terrace seating. If it's crowded, the payment and food/drink pickup areas are narrow, so I recommend securing your seat and leaving unnecessary luggage behind to queue. The borscht was incredibly delicious. I was surprised to see large, red chunks, thinking they were beets, but they turned out to be potatoes. They were surprisingly easy to bite through, which was quite peculiar.

A self-service cafe located on the second floor, accessible by stairs. It primarily features terrace seating, but there are also a few seats inside. Perhaps due to its somewhat inconspicuous location, I was able to secure a seat even during cherry blossom season. They offer a variety of options like sausage dogs, curry, beer, and soft serve ice cream, making it a convenient spot for a quick break. They also accept cashless payments.

I often find that only the terrace seats are available when I go. Even so, the location is convenient for stopping by after visiting the zoo or museum, as it's right in front of Ueno Station. It's a casual and easygoing place. It's great that they have draft beer for 500 yen. It's also a place where you can feel comfortable bringing children.
