This is a classic cafe in a convenient location with two floors, making it ideal for business meetings. The coffee and cakes are of excellent quality, reasonably priced, and served on elegant tableware. The staff is friendly, with charming female waitresses in white aprons who are kind and attentive. Although there was a technical issue with the cash register once, the staff's professionalism ensured that customers remained satisfied. Overall, it's a great establishment.

This area is quite chaotic and noisy, but this shop is incredibly quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect place to meet someone for a casual chat.

You know that feeling when you finish your drink and crave coffee? That's when Tsubakiya Coffee's reliability comes in handy. It's just amazing. ◎What I ordered - Black Tea Chiffon Cake Set ¥1,630 I accidentally ordered cake too. The chiffon cake and cream both had a delicious black tea aroma. I loved that the cream wasn't too sweet. The coffee was a deep roast and went perfectly with the cake. Also, the staff who brought out our order were all so cute. The store's atmosphere, reminiscent of the Taisho era, and the waitresses' outfits were a perfect match. It was truly lovely ✨

Despite being located right in front of the bustling Ueno Station, this place has a completely different atmosphere and furnishings that create a sense of tranquility. The waitresses' service, the food, and the coffee are all top-notch. The hot coffee is served in a Royal Copenhagen cup, while the iced coffee comes in a copper cup, which is a nice touch. Personally, I found the iced coffee to be more flavorful, with a deeper richness and less acidity than the aromatic hot blend. I preferred it. This place is perfect for those who appreciate the Taisho Romanticism era. The prices are also quite high.

It feels like a maid cafe, though I've never been to one. The staff at the reception, dressed as maids, were speaking in high-pitched voices, which I thought would be tiring. The prices are high, but it might be a good choice if you want to be in a quiet, sophisticated cafe. I wanted to share a cake, so I asked for a cut, but they refused. It's incredibly expensive, and they're not very attentive. I thought at least the food would be amazing, but it was below average. Nowadays, convenience store cakes are much tastier and offer better value for money. This place is a rare quiet and retro space in Ueno.
