I always thought it was Parco! Apparently, it's on the first floor of a building called Rakutenchi. It was incredibly crowded. Fully booked. But, when I went back a little later, it was empty. There's a lot of turnover, so you might be able to get in... maybe. Oh, if you're alone, that is. Most people were by themselves. Plus, everyone was quiet, studying or on their phones. There weren't any chatty people (well, it's not that kind of atmosphere, but if you're a pro or someone who doesn't pick up on vibes, you might be able to get away with it, lol). I didn't really go to Doutor much when I was younger, but now I use it all the time. It's so useful. The Wi-Fi is stable, and the price is reasonable for short-term work sessions. Lol. Seriously, thank you! Lol. The seats are pretty close together, but the seats facing each other have frosted glass partitions. The people across from you are busy with their own things, so you don't make eye contact, but the tables are pretty long, so I put my bag on it for extra visual protection. Lol. There's tape on the table to mark your territory, which is helpful. Lol. Plus, there are dividers (they're light, so they move), so you can't see each other's hands, which is great. You know, at ramen shops, some guys get all up in your grill if they know the person next to them is a girl. On the other hand, some people are more reserved and give you space. Lol. The seats were close together, but I was able to work comfortably.
This place is known for its sweets, offering great value for money with items like ice cream. I had the banana and brownie parfait, which was both delicious and generous in size. The coffee is also very reasonably priced, making it a great spot for a casual visit.
This Doutor is located in the basement of Parco. I went there before 11 am on a weekday, and both the indoor and terrace seating areas were empty, making it a relaxing atmosphere. There are 38 seats on the terrace! Since this store is non-smoking, if you want to smoke, I recommend the Doutor on the first floor. That location has smoking seats.
The long table near the center of the restaurant has guests sitting facing each other, but it's only separated by a clear acrylic board, making it quite awkward as you can see other people. Also, some seats are directly under the air conditioning, which made it cold.
I ordered a premium iced cafe latte to go, but they gave me one meant for dining in. When I said "It's for takeout," they handed it to the next person in line. They got my order wrong and skipped me in line, but there was no apology. Why couldn't they just say "I'm sorry"? The Doutor in the basement of Rakutenchi was even better. The service was the only issue, otherwise, it was fine. It's a shame.
