This Maison Kayser store is located in the basement of Coredo Nihonbashi, directly connected to Nihonbashi Station. While I'm not sure about the cafe, the bakery is open until 10 pm on weekdays and 9 pm on weekends, so it's great to be able to buy bread on your way home from work. I'm not working in this area, so this is just a fantasy, but I've always wanted to work in Nihonbashi or Otemachi, in the heart of Tokyo. I went there around 8 pm on a weekday, and there was still a good variety of bread left. They have croissants, Danish pastries, canelé, scones, savory breads like corn and edamame, and a variety of hard breads. They also sell tarts, cakes, and baked goods. This time, I bought a Viennoise chocolate, which is a soft French bread with chocolate chips, and a corn bread. I ate them the next day. I also got a sample of a matcha and white chocolate bread. It wasn't just a tiny sliver, it was a generous 1/4 slice. The corn bread was simple and had a sweet corn flavor, perfect for any occasion. The Viennoise chocolate was delicious with its rich chocolate flavor.

I stopped by for a break. The eat-in space isn't very large, so it's not a place to relax. There were so many delicious-looking breads that it might be better to take them home and enjoy them at your leisure. The iced coffee had a nice bitterness and was delicious.

Luckily, I was able to get a table a little before 11:00. It was quickly full. As expected, the bread was delicious! ✨ There was so much food that I couldn't finish it all, so they gave me a bag to take it home.

I recently had the pasta lunch at the restaurant. It filled up quickly, and after ordering, I went to the back with the staff to pay. They accept cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. The pasta and iced coffee were average. The bread was plentiful and seemed intended for takeout. The bread was delicious. There are few seats, but many people dine alone, so the turnover is fast. One of the female staff members seemed unhappy and a bit rude. The bakery shop has a wider variety of bread than other shops. The bread is definitely tastier when eaten at the restaurant than when taken out.

It's located on the B1 floor of Coredo Nihonbashi. It's a building with great access, even on rainy days, as it's directly connected to the B12 exit of Tokyo Metro Nihonbashi Station. The 4th floor and B1 floor are for restaurants, while the other floors are for fashion. It's right on the left side as you enter from the B12 exit. The enticing aroma of butter will inevitably draw you into the store. The prices aren't exactly budget-friendly, but the selection is undeniably delicious. The bread is mostly hard-style, not the kind with 'melonpan' (melon bread), but more like the bakery in 'Kiki's Delivery Service'. Besides selling bread, they also have a cafe, and there's a counter where you can grab a quick bite for 2-3 people. However, the counter is located right by the checkout line and next to the glass with various flyers for outside events, making it a bit less than ideal for a relaxing meal. The cafe offers mainly one-plate meals, which I'd like to try sometime.
