I revisited this place alone on a Saturday at 12:05 PM, after a long time. There were three people waiting, but I was able to purchase my ticket (九州じゃんがらラーメン全部乗せ, with regular noodles, ¥1,590) right away and was seated at the counter. The cold water arrived promptly. The ramen arrived after about five minutes. The soup was a mild, easy-to-drink tonkotsu broth, but it was a little lukewarm. The noodles were thin and straight. The toppings included a large, thick piece of soft pork belly chashu, two thinner pieces of pork belly chashu, a half-boiled egg, bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and more. I enjoyed the ramen, adding pickled mustard greens, pickled ginger, minced garlic, sesame seeds, and pepper for flavor variations. I finished the entire bowl of soup. When I left at 12:25 PM, there were nine people waiting. The location attracts many foreign tourists.

I visited this place after watching an event at Yoyogi National Gymnasium because I was hungry. It's right in front of Meiji-jingumae Station! I ordered the Janggara miso ramen with cod roe and a soft-boiled egg. When I mixed the cod roe into the soup, it completely changed the flavor! It became a bit spicy, and it reminded me of Ichiran's spicy miso. But maybe I should have ordered the pork bone broth instead...

【2024.9】I had the "Bonshan Zenbu-iri" (¥1430). The soup has a gentle, smooth texture and a sweet flavor. What's amazing is that it doesn't have any pork bone smell. The extremely thin noodles have a smooth texture and go down easily, and they work well with the soup whether they're firm or soft. I'm not usually picky about the ingredients, but I always get the "Zenbu-iri" here. The combination of the generous toppings and the soup is truly unique to Jangara.

Location: Just a short walk from Harajuku Station I've been eating here since middle school! "Kyushu Jangara Ramen Harajuku"! I ordered: • Kyushu Jangara Mentai Koiri (¥990) Changed the noodles to low-carb noodles (+¥50) It was so delicious! The soup was amazing! I drank it all up!✌️ They have vegan options and low-carb noodles, and it's popular with inbound tourists and women. It's really amazing (◠‿◠) I definitely want to go back. It's a highly recommended place (๑>◡<๑)

Just a 2-minute walk from Harajuku Station, you'll find 'Jangara Ramen'. It's also a 4-minute walk from Meiji Jingumae Station. While wandering around Omotesando, I couldn't decide what to have for lunch and ended up at Harajuku Station. At this point, I knew it had to be Jangara Ramen! It's been a while since I last came here, but it's still delicious! The classic Kyushu Jangara Ramen is great, but today I was craving something with a bit more punch, so I went for the Kumamoto-style tonkotsu ramen (Kobonshan Ramen). The chili oil really hits the spot when you're hungry! And the braised pork belly was so tender and flavorful. It was a delicious meal. Jangara is very popular with foreign tourists. At the counter, everyone except me was from another country, and it was really impressive to see them all enjoying their ramen with such enthusiasm.
