This time, I went with a friend on a weekday at around 12:35 pm. The restaurant was bustling, but there were a few tables available. Since my target "Yellowtail and Shirasu Donburi" wasn't sold out, I ordered it. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The server placed it down with a bit too much force, causing the miso soup to spill. The yellowtail was marinated, so it was delicious even on its own. I enjoyed it with wasabi. There was plenty of shirasu on top, and it had a nice salty flavor. The rice comes with a free large portion option, but the bowl is deep, so it was already a large serving. I was full. Although the main dish is a donburi, it comes with side dishes like pickles, crab cream croquettes, cold tofu, and red miso soup, making it a very satisfying meal. The Shin-Minami-guchi area is more of an office district, so there are a lot of salarymen on weekdays. Even so, many people "eat quickly and leave quickly," so the turnover rate doesn't seem too bad. Thank you for the meal.
I think the atmosphere, service, and food are all excellent. If the all-you-can-drink menu included draft beer, it would be perfect! I will definitely come back again. 🍺
Uoking offers delicious and affordable seafood. I was surprised to find that the appetizer was scallop cream croquettes. It's usually quite crowded, so it's probably best to make a reservation. It's also a plus that they have a designated smoking area a bit further away. I appreciate how attentive the staff is, offering refills when your drinks run low. However, I deducted a star for service because when I ordered miso soup, it spilled a bit and there was no follow-up from the staff. Despite the abundance of service, this small oversight left a negative impression.
This was my first time at Shibuya San-chome Uokinn. I've been to the Uokinn in Shinbashi a few times, but the one in Shibuya San-chome is always packed. Today, I went around 8 pm and was lucky enough to find an empty seat. I was able to get into the restaurant. The sashimi at Uokinn is still as delicious and plentiful as ever 😋 I want to go back again! However, they have since been adjusted to a more reasonable price. The portions are just right, and the food is consistently delicious, so I've been going about once a week lately 😊 Today I had the oyster fry. It came with sashimi, so I was able to enjoy a variety of dishes. The only thing I would say is that the rice 🍚 is a bit too much for me, so I forgot to ask for a smaller portion when I ordered 😋 I'll be back again! I hope they reopen soon 🤲 April 2021 The restaurant has reopened. This is my third visit since it reopened. Today I had the ginger pork set. I asked for a smaller portion of rice, but the amount of meat was quite large, and the rice wasn't enough 😅 It's great that you get sashimi even when you order a meat set 😊 And it was delicious today too. June 2021 Lunch out after a long time. I had the yellowtail and shirasu donburi at my favorite Shibuya San-chome Uokinn. It feels like the portion has gotten smaller, but... It was still delicious 😊
