This is a long-established Western-style restaurant located near the Fukagawa Edo Museum, close to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. It's a popular spot among local salarymen, often filling up by 11:45 am on weekdays. I ordered the Omu-Hayashi Rice. However, while it says 'Rice Large Serving' on the menu, it wasn't free. It's true, it didn't say 'free' specifically... But the taste was delicious! Simply delicious. The rice was white rice, the egg had a nice creamy texture, and the Hayashi sauce was flavorful without being too strong. A perfect balance. It also came with a croquette, which I really enjoyed. The potatoes were coarsely chopped, giving it a nice texture. The salad and miso soup were also included, making for a very satisfying meal. ▽--------------------------▽ ○Restaurant Name: Ichibanboshi ○Tabelog Rating: 3.38 (as of September 10, 2024) ○5 minutes walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station ○Budget: ¥2,000 per person ○Address: 1F, Furuya Building, 1-4-18 Shirakawa, Koto-ku, Tokyo ○Business Hours: [Tue-Fri] 11:30 - 13:30 / 18:00 - 23:00 [Sat, Sun, Holidays] 11:30 - 14:00 / 17:00 - 22:00 ※Closed on Mondays ※Credit cards accepted △--------------------------△ 【Reservation Availability】 Dinner available 【Recommended Usage】 Coworkers, friends, solo 【Crowdedness】 60% full at 11:40 am on Tuesday. A hearty and satisfying lunch that will appeal to men's appetites! ♡ This place serves some seriously filling meals. I had the famous pork saute lunch, and even with less rice, it was still a huge portion! Most of the male customers were ordering the large size for an extra ¥100. It's incredibly popular, so it's usually full by noon. Getting there early is a good idea. Other menu items include omelets, fried chicken, and hamburgers... There were a lot of hearty dishes that men and children would enjoy! My stomach is so full! ♡ Thank you for the delicious meal! ♡
It has a stylish atmosphere, but the staff are friendly and make it feel like a homey place. The food is enjoyable, ranging from home-style dishes to Western cuisine. Drinks are cheaper during early hours, and I enjoyed going there alone for a casual drink. Most importantly, the food is truly delicious.
I visited during the weekday lunch time. I had the mixed fried food set. It was very filling, and they offer free rice refills! So grateful! It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.
While many places that seem promising turn out to be disappointing, what are people's thoughts on Kiyosumi Shirakawa? It's especially bustling on weekends with people seeking something, but I wonder what they're all coming for. Regardless of others' motivations, today I'll be talking about a Western-style restaurant in Kiyosumi Shirakawa. "Ichiban Hoshi" is a Western-style restaurant with a strong sense of purpose. It's conveniently located just a few minutes from the station. Perhaps due to the lack of good lunch options in the area, it's always packed during lunchtime. This was my first time visiting the restaurant. They have a lot of pork dishes, and they all looked delicious. After much deliberation, I went with the pork saute (butter soy sauce). It was simply delicious. As far as pork saute goes, it's the best I've ever had. The meat was incredibly tender. And the flavor! It was butter soy sauce, but with a pleasant sweetness. Butter soy sauce goes so well with rice. It was so good! I was eating silently, but I was actually very excited. The pasta side dish tasted like the kind you get in a bento box. I love it. The egg soup was also nice. I can't believe there's such a great restaurant so close by. I never noticed "Ichiban Hoshi" before. Pork Saute: 1200 yen
