My friend made a reservation for my birthday. It's a hidden gem that seems to be frequented by wine lovers, and there are no private rooms. The staff were all male, and there were more male customers than female. It's not a yakitori restaurant, but a kushiyaki restaurant. It was surprising that there was absolutely no smoke from the charcoal grill, and no smoky smell at all. I ordered the "[Most Popular] Full Course" for 9,000 yen, which they recommended, along with a recommended wine. ◆ 3 Appetizers ◆ [Ogi] Specialty Tsukune ◆ Today's Recommended 6 Skewers ◆ White Liver Pate ◆ Today's Special Dish ◆ Today's Palate Cleanser ◆ [Closing Rice] Truffle-Grilled Onigiri ◆ Chicken Bone Collagen Soup ◆ [Dessert] Today's Homemade Dessert ◆ After-Dinner Drink It's unusual for an after-dinner drink to be included in the course, but they also had non-alcoholic options like grape juice. This time it was a girls' night out, but I'd like to come back with someone I like for a Tokyo Calendar-style date. It's a great place for wine lovers.

I was taken to this stylish charcoal-grilled skewer restaurant in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, because I was craving it! ♡+♡=❤ Yay, I'm so excited! It's located about a 2-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station, making it super accessible! "Ogi" is on the 3rd floor of a building. We took the elevator up and entered. The interior is stylish! All the staff were wonderful, refined gentlemen. We were seated at the counter. First, we started with a 100% Chardonnay champagne, "Le Pieron Les Reglis Brut Blanc de Blancs NV" (¥2,000) to kick things off! At "Ogi", they only offer a course menu! They had made a reservation for the full course (¥8,500) for me. Yay! (人'∀'o) The appetizer was a 3-piece assortment: - Roasted beef with Shimonita onion marinade - Porcini mushroom potage "Ogi"'s famous Tsukune Salt-grilled heart (skewer) After finishing the champagne, we moved on to a French Burgundy red wine, "Santenay Vieilles Vignes 2021" (¥1,700). Today's special dish: - Baked Jerusalem artichoke with salsa verde. The salsa verde sauce was delicious! ✨ Lotus root (skewer) Smoked chicken thigh (skewer) Breast gland (skewer) - This is a rare cut, the thymus gland from the breast! It was delicious! You squeeze sudachi over it, which makes it refreshingly delicious ( ~−ω−~) White liver pâté - The cup-shaped spoon is cute. The white liver pâté is delicious! Duck (skewer) Palate cleanser - It was a yuzu granita, which was incredibly refreshing and perfect for cleansing the palate (*'.'*) Shinano chicken wing (skewer) 【Final dish】Truffle-baked rice ball (1 skewer) The baked rice ball is on a skewer, with truffle on top. When you open the lid, you can smell the wonderful aroma of truffle. It's so stylish and amazing! It comes with chicken bone broth. You can mix it with the rice ball to make it like a tea-infused rice porridge, which was also delicious. ♡ 【Dessert】Today's homemade dessert - Strawberry semifreddo, raspberry chocolate, and Grand Marnier orange jelly. ☆ The pairing with the after-dinner drink was perfect (・∀・) After-dinner drink - The after-dinner drink was a sake called "Bomichel", from Saku City, Nagano Prefecture, with a strawberry-like flavor (*'.'*) It was my first time trying it, and it was incredibly delicious! Herbal tea - It was warm and delicious. ♡ Even those who don't like herbal tea can enjoy this one! The wine and charcoal-grilled skewers at Ginza Ogi were delicious! Thank you for the meal! ♪

Located about a 2-minute walk from Higashi Ginza Station, [Ogi] is on the 3rd floor of a building (°▽°). As you exit the elevator and turn left, you'll be greeted by a stylish interior ✨. Tucked away behind the Kabuki-za Theatre, this restaurant offers a luxurious experience with meticulously grilled skewers and a wide selection of wines. It's located on the third floor of a dining mall just a four-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station. While the menu features skewers, they are not traditional Japanese style. Instead, they offer original dishes that blend Japanese and Western ingredients and techniques. Choose from their extensive wine list, boasting over 300 selections, to complement your meal. They also have a good selection of wines by the glass and even offer pairing courses, making it possible to enjoy high-quality wines at reasonable prices.

A yakitori restaurant in Higashi-Ginza, themed around charcoal-grilled skewers and wine. Unlike smoky yakitori restaurants, it has a stylish bistro-like atmosphere. The smell is barely noticeable. The dishes are a course designed to pair with wine, and everything is delicious, including their famous Tsukune (chicken meatballs) and Tebasaki (chicken wings). Even the full course is reasonably priced at 8,000 yen.
