I've been a regular here for a while because I love the food. This time, the restaurant was doing a collaboration cafe, so it was very crowded. The collaboration seats were packed, and I had to wait for the first time. But it was delicious, so I waited and ate, but there were still a lot of waiting times. I had asked for the set tea to be served after the meal, but it took over 30 minutes to come out after I finished eating and asked for it. I understand it's unavoidable with the crowd, but I hope they can improve this in the future. I want to keep coming back. Also, it's great that the restaurant is doing well, but it looked very tough. It's hard to find staff these days, and with so much work, it must be very difficult. I hope they keep up the good work.
My friend and I went together. It was my first time at Chun Shui Tang. I had a strong image of it being a tapioca place, but I was surprised to see that they had a wide variety of food options. This time I had the Yuzu Salt Chicken Soup Noodles, which were refreshing and delicious. It was getting a little cooler, so it was nice to have something warm. The noodles were smooth and chewy, and the portion was quite large. I wanted to try the braised pork rice and some desserts, but I was too full. I'll definitely try them next time.
Actually, this is my first report since the store was renovated from May 5th to 15th, 2024. The lunch sets with drinks are a great deal! I had the Chun Shui Tang's most popular Doujiang Jitanmen (Soy Milk Chicken Noodle Soup) with a drink set. (No cilantro or scallions) The black vinegar jelly-like soy milk soup noodles and chicken meat were a perfect match for the warm soy milk. It's a must-try for soy milk and noodle lovers. The warm soy milk warms you up from the inside out. This time, I chose to have no cilantro or scallions, just a whim on the day I visited. It happens, right? Besides the above drink set, there are also the Shrimp Tomato Tanmen (Noodle Soup) drink set, Mala Tantan (Spicy Sichuan) mixed noodles drink set, and Lu Rou Fan (Braised Pork Rice) drink set. For the drink in the drink set, I chose the Tapioca Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea since I had already tried the Tapioca Milk Tea at other Chun Shui Tang branches. Besides Tapioca Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, there are also Tapioca Milk Tea, Tapioca Matcha Milk, Tapioca Hojicha Milk, and Tapioca Soy Milk Tea. You order using mobile order by scanning the QR code on the menu with your smartphone. When you pay, there's a campaign where you can get 10% off if you register as a new friend on their official LINE account by scanning the QR code next to the register. I registered and got 10% off. You can also get takeout. The takeout menu includes seasonal specials like Tapioca White Peach Milk Tea and White Peach Berry Jasmine Tea. This is a perfect place for lunch, dinner, or a quick break. If you're in Omotesando, why not give it a try?
I tried the limited-time lemon soy milk soup cold noodles and they were delicious. The service was excellent, even though they were busy. The store was clean and the restroom was also very clean.
Afternoon tea for only ¥3,000! The price is great, and the delicious tapioca drink is included, making it a very satisfying experience. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. However, the tables are small, so it gets a bit cramped when you try to fit everything on them. I was a little worried about dropping something! (laughs)
