The three appetizers were delicious. I personally could have done without the shark fin rice and was eager to order from the à la carte menu. The chef suggested we order after tasting the appetizers, but I had plenty of room in my stomach! From the à la carte menu, we had the dumplings and the dan dan noodles. The noodles had a nice level of spice and a rich broth, they were delicious. The wine was unique and interesting! The beer could have been colder.

This is the best Chinese restaurant. It's the number one Chinese restaurant in the Kiyosumi Shirakawa area. This time, I ordered the half-piece shark fin course with additional appetizers, Shanghai crab marinated in Shaoxing wine, pickled mustard greens, and a separate order of yellow chives soy sauce noodles for the finale. The course was absolutely delicious from the appetizers to the finale. It goes without saying, but you should definitely go and experience it for yourself. Personally, I found the horse mackerel fry, the paprika and lemongrass soup, and the shark fin to be exceptionally delicious. The Shanghai crab I ordered as an extra, although marinated in Shaoxing wine, had no trace of the typical Shaoxing wine smell or crab odor, and was seasoned perfectly. It's a dish that even people who dislike Shaoxing wine marinade can enjoy. It seems they don't usually allow a la carte orders, but it's possible to order a la carte dishes in addition to the course. All the a la carte menu items looked delicious, but this time I chose the yellow chives soy sauce noodles and pickled mustard greens. They were also absolutely delicious. The yellow chives soy sauce noodles were made with a chicken bone broth base, I think, with a chicken oil-like element added, giving them a fragrant, refined soy sauce flavor enhanced by the deliciousness of the yellow chives. It was truly exceptional. They also have a very discerning selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I had the soba tea and spiced plum wine, both of which were also absolutely delicious. I feel like I'm overusing the word 'delicious,' but it really is that good. The course dishes might look small in the photos, but they're actually a good amount of food. This is what it means to have your heart and stomach filled with satisfaction. It's a place I want to visit again and again.

This Chinese restaurant is located a 4-5 minute walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. I visited with a neighbor who made a reservation for me on a weekday evening. My neighbor usually works as a secretary. You can easily make a reservation even if you're not a regular customer. The restaurant has counter seats, table seats along the wall on the opposite side, and private rooms. It's a relatively compact space, but it doesn't feel cramped. I had the 10,000 yen omakase course, which features a half portion of shark fin as the main dish. The course included seven dishes, with the third dish being freshly baked char siu. The dim sum was chewy and delicious, and the sauce was unique and flavorful with mint. The shark fin soup was also rich and delicious. They bring rice with the shark fin so you can enjoy it all. I also ordered fried rice and Sanra-tanmen (spicy and sour noodle soup) as additional dishes. Both were delicious. The Sanra-tanmen had a strong sour flavor, but it was just the right amount of sourness, not too overwhelming. It was perfect! The atmosphere is casual and stylish, making it a comfortable and easy-to-use restaurant with delicious food. Mr. Otsu is also a very friendly person. Good luck with the festival!

The course menu offers a wide variety of dishes, ensuring high satisfaction. However, the portion sizes are just right for women, perhaps a bit small for men. Fortunately, you can add individual dishes to the course, so when I come with a male companion, I always order the shark fin course and add Mapo Tofu. They also have a good selection of wines at reasonable prices, which is greatly appreciated. The owner-chef, Mr. Otsu, is a friendly person, and I'm always very satisfied with the experience.
