The Shangri-La Lobby Lounge✨ Shiny Summer Afternoon Tea I made a reservation through Ikyu and visited during the lunch hour! Everything, from the sweets to the savories, was absolutely delicious! Afternoon tea can sometimes feel overly sweet with the desserts in the latter half, but here, the savories were also plentiful, which was great. Personally, I was happy to see avocado shrimp and salmon poke. The sweets were a highlight, with a variety of summer fruits like passion fruit jelly and mango mousse! The drinks were all-you-can-drink from the menu, and I was able to enjoy a variety of flavored teas. Personally, I was a little disappointed that there were no mocktails and not many cold drink options. When making a reservation, there was a note that seat selection was not possible and that guests might be seated at the bar counter during busy times. Since it was a holiday, I was concerned about seating, but I was actually seated at a window seat with a great view! When I looked around the lounge, it seemed like most afternoon tea guests were seated at tables. The service was excellent, with every staff member being kind. They even took a picture of us with the afternoon tea and the window view as a backdrop, which I was very happy about. However, one thing that bothered me was that the bill was placed on the table with the price visible before our time was up. This was fine since I was with my family, but it's something to be aware of if you're celebrating a birthday or anniversary. 【Sweets】 ・Mango Mousse ・Blue Curaçao Jelly and Pineapple Parfait ・White Peach Cheesecake ・Passion Fruit Jelly and Mousse ・Melon-flavored Lime Macaron 【Savories】 ・Pulled Chicken Burger ・Garlic Shrimp and Avocado Dip ・Poke and Fruit Salsa ・Spam Rice 【Homemade Baked Scones】 ・Classic ・Coconut Malasada - Scone inspired by Hawaiian Malasada Donuts ・Chocolate Mint Clotted Cream, Strawberry Jam, Kaya Jam

During the day, the age of the place is quite noticeable... The moment you enter the dedicated entrance on the first floor of the building, you're greeted by a lovely aroma, raising your expectations. Upon entering the lounge with those heightened expectations, you might be slightly disappointed. The tables and chairs are old, and stains and dirt are more prominent in the bright light. The tea has a wonderful aroma, but the taste is a bit weak. This is something that might be a matter of personal preference. The view is beautiful and refreshing. I visited in the morning, and while there were a fair number of other patrons, it wasn't overly crowded or noisy. Simply replacing the tables and chairs would significantly improve the overall satisfaction.

This place is sparkling 🤩 and absolutely lovely 💖. You can see a beautiful view of Tokyo 🗼! The afternoon tea 🫖 is delicious, and the scones are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside! It's a flavor I love 💕👅. The portions are just right, and the menu changes with the seasons. The staff is very attentive with the tea ☕️, and they make sure you have a fun time enjoying your tea 🍵 until the very end! The atmosphere is also very pleasant and not chaotic, making it a great place to enjoy a fun afternoon tea 🫖.

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea with an abundance of sweet treats, all while admiring the cityscape. I went in hungry and left completely satisfied. My wife was overjoyed, which made me happy as well. I won't say what it was, but it made me realize just how amazing women are. It was a truly memorable afternoon. The service and food quality were both worthy of the Shangri-La name.

I enjoyed an afternoon tea. It cost around 8,000 yen per person, but drinks were free, and most importantly, I was able to enjoy sweets and light meals in a luxurious atmosphere.
