I'm writing this because I was a little disappointed. When I came here a few years ago, it was a very pleasant place with a friendly atmosphere. But when I visited again recently, the staff was chatting away with a small group of regulars, creating a very exclusive and unpleasant vibe. If this is their new approach, I apologize for my misunderstanding. It's fine to value close relationships, but it made me think they might be getting a little too comfortable with themselves. The coffee is delicious, which makes it all the more disappointing.
I ordered a Brazilian drip coffee at a small roastery in the shopping district. It had a light acidity but a full body, and it was interesting how the taste gradually became cleaner. It's a delicious finish that's different from the trendy single-origin, light roasts. The owner is passionate about coffee and has a selection of green beans, and it's always a joy to have him choose the perfect beans for my mood. 400 yen (drip, Brazil)
While it's not a chain store and has a cozy atmosphere, the ambiance is great. I've had decaf at many cafes, but this one is among my top favorites. If you prefer less acidity, you might like it. The owner clearly loves coffee. He was very polite and attentive during the service and when he greeted me.
Delicious! The price is reasonable. The coffee is smooth, with no bitterness, and has a fresh aftertaste. It's clear that the careful hand-drip brewing makes all the difference. It's not a trendy cafe in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa that sparks conversation, but more like a coffee stand where you can sit down.
I visited on a weekday evening. I ordered the coffee of the day. The interior was simple yet stylish, and they were selling beans and original goods. I'm not a coffee expert, but when I asked about the coffee of the day, they answered me politely, and it was very delicious. Thank you.
