While my husband waited in line for KidZania in the morning, I used the space with my children. It was helpful that they were open around 8:30 am, as most other shops were closed at that time. As is common with children, there was a mishap where water or juice was spilled. Even then, the staff provided cleaning cloths, cleaned up the mess, and didn't show any displeasure. Their service really eased my mind! Thank you so much for that. They also have outlets for those who need to work remotely, making it a very comfortable space. I would definitely visit again when we go to KidZania.
This is the Komeda Coffee shop located in LaLaport Toyosu. It's usually crowded, but the turnover is fast, so you can get in after a short wait. It seems like a lot of families with children and students come here. It's open late, which is very convenient. The taste is, of course, delicious. It's located towards the back of LaLaport, so it might be hard to find for first-timers, but it's along the walkway from the station, so it's in a convenient location.
I visited around 4 PM on July 13, 2024. The cafe was crowded, and I had to wait about 30 minutes to get in. ■ Waiting Line You just get a ticket at the entrance, but using the LINE notification feature is convenient because you can browse the mall while you wait. The interior is your typical Komeda. You can see the outside view from the window seats. There is a 90-minute time limit during busy hours.
On the first day of a three-day weekend, I wanted to take my daughter somewhere, so we visited Komeda Coffee Shop at LaLaport Toyosu, a nearby spot for lunch. Arriving just after 11 am, we found a queue of about 15 groups, indicating its popularity. However, we were able to enter after waiting for about 15 minutes. My daughter, craving something sweet, couldn't take her eyes off the Shirono-wa-ru with purple sweet potato, and ordered it along with a mini salad. I, intrigued by the reviews mentioning its 'reverse photo fraud,' ordered the highly-touted Domigurasu Burger and a Komeda Blend. The Domigurasu Burger was indeed huge, and the combination of the demi-glace sauce and the patty was incredibly delicious. I thought the Komeda Blend could be refilled, but it turned out to be at regular price, so I had to pass. My daughter's Shirono-wa-ru with purple sweet potato was tasty, but the purple sweet potato sauce was a bit heavy for her, so I ended up finishing the last piece. It was a long time since I last visited Komeda Coffee, and I can see why it's so popular.
It was a holiday, but we went late after dinner, so we were able to get a table easily. The Shirono-wa-ru was a small size, which was just the right amount of food.
