A shop and cafe originating from Hokkaido. Both eat-in and takeout are available. You order at the counter first. What I ordered: ☑ Hokkaido Milk (ICE) ☑ Hokkaido Apple Pie ☑ Hokkaido Corn Bread Everything Hokkaido! For drinks, you order at the counter and then pour your own from a server. For hot drinks, you just use the cups next to the server, but for iced drinks, you take a cup from the refrigerator on the opposite side of the server. This cup comes with ice. I ordered the apple pie and corn bread for eat-in, so they brought them out warmed up. There are counter seats and table seats, and each counter seat has a charging outlet, so you can use it as a charging cafe. Drinks start at 200 yen, so it's very cost-effective. I was so happy to finally get the Hokkaido corn bread! I couldn't find it when I went to Hokkaido during Golden Week. The corn is sweet and absolutely delicious. The shop also has an antenna shop selling Hokkaido snacks, cookies, alcohol, and more.
I visited this cafe on February 20, 2023. It's located across the street from the Kumatsu Police Station, right behind the Nihonbashi Fire Department's Ningyocho Branch. The signboard menu advertised a medium-sized coffee for 200 yen, which is incredibly cheap! I had to try it. You can see inside from the street, which is reassuring. When I entered, there was a single male staff member working. It's basically a self-service establishment. After being shown how to make the coffee and pay, I was ready to go! I grabbed a medium-sized cup, placed it under the server, and chose my drink. Payment is accepted via smartphone, which is convenient. In fact, I prefer not having to interact with the staff. Even though it's a medium-sized coffee, the cup is quite large, so it's very satisfying. The cafe has a counter with five seats facing the street, seven seats along the wall facing each other, and two tables for four people in the back. All the seats have acrylic panels for COVID-19 prevention. There were five women sitting at the counter, and an elderly couple who looked like they were on a trip were at one of the tables in the back. It seems like women are the majority of customers. Each counter seat has a 100V outlet and a charging port for Type-C and USB! Plus, there's free Wi-Fi! This is incredibly convenient. Some customers who knew about this system were working on their laptops. The toilet is a Western-style toilet with a shower, which is great. There are multiple types of charging stations at the counter seats, which is great. The medium-sized coffee is 200 yen and a generous portion, which is great. There are some simple snacks and food available, which is nice. They promote Hokkaido, but I didn't really feel it, which is strange. Don't expect much from the coffee's taste, haha. I recommend this place for those who want to work on their laptops while enjoying coffee.
This is a stylish cafe with a calm, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere. ☕️\(^◻︎^)/ Yay! They also carry Hokkaido specialties, including scallops and squid, or so I hear. ・:*+.\[( °ω° )\]/.:+ If you're in the area, be sure to check it out! (^皿^)v
I stumbled upon this place and it was such a charming shop. I got a cappuccino to go, which was very affordable and a lifesaver. There's a counter table with an outlet, so it seems like a good spot to work. They carry Hokkaido products, and I bought some Atka mackerel. It was so big it wouldn't fit in my apartment's grill, but it was delicious. I'll definitely be back.
This is essentially a self-service shop where you can also eat in. You can complete your purchase without interacting with anyone, except for a few specific items. Being in Hokkaido, the milk is delicious, and I always get a cappuccino (hot only) and an iced latte. Today, my lunch was smaller than I expected, so I ordered the apple pie I'd been wanting to try. A very friendly staff member warmed it up for me for about 5 minutes, and the toasty aroma was wonderful. However... when I got to the office and took a bite, I thought, "Where are the apples?" It might be a matter of personal preference, but I think apple pie should have apples as the star ingredient. Without them, it's basically just a croissant, which was a bit disappointing.
