I'm a big fan of acai bowls and fruit smoothies and I'm always on the lookout for new places to try. This one is amazing! It's naturally sweet without any added sugar and they have a ton of healthy toppings like kinako (roasted soybean flour), sesame seeds, and charcoal. If you want something a little sweeter, you can also choose chocolate sauce. It's a bit of a bummer that I can't find acai bowls unless I go to Shibuya, but since I discovered this place, I've been coming here almost every week. It's delicious and good for you, so it's a really important spot for me. There are some places that are expensive and use ingredients I don't even know what they are, but this one is affordable and amazing. Whoever came up with this idea is brilliant... I'll definitely be a regular here!⭐︎
This banana juice stand is located on the first floor of the Marui department store in Kinshicho, right as you enter. A refreshingly cold, smooth banana juice is the perfect treat on a hot summer day. They have a wide variety of options beyond just bananas, including hot drinks for the colder months. It's a great place to stop by while shopping for a quick and delicious drink to quench your thirst.
I previously had their banana smoothie and it was delicious, so this time I ordered the banana bowl. Based on the menu photo and price, I thought it would be a granola bowl with plenty of berry mix, but… The berries and grains were sparse, and it was just a bowl full of banana smoothie. Also, the frozen mixed berries were served without being thawed, so it was a bowl of ice. Furthermore, there was only one staff member, who was taking orders and making drinks, so they seemed overwhelmed. I wasn’t able to take my time choosing and ordering.
I visited for the first time because I wanted to eat something healthy. I had a general idea of what to order from the menu on the website, but I thought I'd ask for recommendations. When I went to the counter, I expected a greeting like "Welcome!" or "Hello!" but I was only met with a simple "Yes?" and silence. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a hint of a smile, and their face seemed almost angry. I was a bit taken aback and found myself stammering, "Uh, well, um..." I felt strangely nervous. I couldn't believe it! I placed my order, feeling a bit bewildered. The banana juice was pretty good, so I might get it again, but I'm not sure I'll go back. First impressions really do matter.
This place made me realize that banana smoothies are the best, no matter what. The loud noise of the blender makes me a little self-conscious, but I'll definitely come back when I'm feeling a little peckish. Also, I've been thinking this for a while, but it would be great if they had some kind of sign to indicate when they're busy with orders.
