We finally made it to the legendary Joel Robuchon restaurant! We were excited to find out they offered a casual dining option, perfect for bringing our child along. We made a reservation but decided to choose between the set menu or à la carte options on the day. We were so grateful to find a children's menu available. My husband and I opted for the lunch set menu and added some à la carte dishes, making for a truly satisfying meal. The set menu was a prix fixe style, allowing us to choose our appetizers and main courses. We both selected different dishes, enjoying a variety of flavors. Every dish was beautifully presented, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. The artistry was truly remarkable. Each plate sparkled, making it a joy to photograph. The flavors were equally impressive, leaving us in awe. There's no other way to describe it - simply amazing.
A reliable casual French restaurant that's always consistent! While I've had a hunch for a while, I've been increasingly noticing the behavior of some of the male staff members lately (laughs). I can't help but wonder if they're trying to appeal to younger female customers, as their expressions are noticeably relaxed, making me feel like I'm at a bar counter rather than a restaurant (laughs). I try to remind myself that it's not Le Bernardin, but I can't help but notice it. For those who don't mind, it's a perfectly fine casual French restaurant. The presentation is beautiful, and the food is delicious, of course! You can enjoy the movement and energy of the open kitchen right in front of you. If you're looking for a relaxed and unpretentious French dining experience, this is more than enough!

It's a place where you can relax and eat at your own pace. The open kitchen allows you to watch the chefs in action, which adds a fresh feel. The desserts are also very generous in size, so you might want to come with an empty stomach!
I recently stumbled upon Roppongi Hills and was lucky enough to snag a seat for a solo lunch walk-in. One of the best things about solo lunches is that you can take your time taking photos, savor the food, and really focus on the flavors. The weekday lunch prices have gone up since my last visit, but the food remains consistently delicious 😋. I ordered the signature dessert, but it was just chocolate ice cream, so there wasn't much of a surprise. I'll try something different next time.
