Shibuya is closer to my home, but I feel like the food is better in Roppongi. When I crave soup dumplings, I come here. Soup dumplings, spring rolls with Shanghai crab paste, and vegetarian buns. These are the basics. I start with the pork soup dumplings and finish with the shrimp ones. The triangular spring rolls are my wife's favorite. I love the buns. Oh, I'm getting hungry. The bill was 5,555 yen.

My daughters craved Chinese noodles while we were shopping, so we decided to have lunch here! (*´∇`*) Kids love noodles! The restaurant was almost full, but we were able to get a table without waiting. We ordered the lunch set, which included dumplings and other dishes, making it a great deal! The dumplings were delicious! When you break them open on a spoon, they release a generous amount of broth. They are best enjoyed with chopped ginger and black vinegar. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ The crab meat spring rolls were filled with bamboo shoots, tofu, and crab meat. They were crispy, hot, and delicious! (〃ω〃) The shrimp salt noodles were a Chinese noodle dish with shrimp broth and shrimp. They had a thick sauce and my daughters loved them! The shrimp with chili sauce, stir-fried pork with green peppers, and everything else were delicious! Thank you for the meal!

A Chinese restaurant in Roppongi. It's located within a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station, on the 1st floor of Roppongi Hills Hillside. It was also awarded the "Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in China" in 2021. I went there on a Saturday at around 1:00 PM and there were 3 groups waiting. It took about 30 minutes to get a table. Today, I ordered one set and a few à la carte dishes to share with my companion. ✔︎ Three Kinds of Seafood Stir-fried with XO Sauce (¥1,800) This dish might be the reason why this restaurant is so highly rated…✨ As a seafood lover, I absolutely loved it. The seafood included shrimp, squid, and scallops. Other ingredients included young corn, shiitake mushrooms, onions, peppers, and asparagus. The XO sauce was incredibly flavorful and perfectly complemented the seafood. ✔︎ Crab Fried Rice (¥1,500) This was also quite delicious. It was a classic crab fried rice with lettuce, eggs, and crab. It was good, but it was priced accordingly. ✔︎ Xiao Long Bao and Tenshin Set (¥2,290) This was a pretty substantial set. The set included the following: * Xiao Long Bao x 3 * Shanghai Crab Roe Spring Roll * Vegetarian Bun * Braised Pork Belly * Shrimp Salt Soup Noodle * Soy Sauce-Flavored Dried Radish * Mango Pudding The Xiao Long Bao was delicious. The pork was chunky and juicy, and the broth burst out when you bit into the skin. The braised pork belly had a bit of star anise, but it was very tender and melt-in-your-mouth, perfect for pairing with rice. The vegetarian bun was a bit underwhelming. It was packed with greens, which was good, but it was a bit dry and lacked warmth. The spring roll didn't have much crab roe flavor, but it was passable. The salt soup noodle was great for warming you up from the inside out (*^▽^*) It's great to have a lunch menu that offers a variety of Chinese dishes in smaller portions, not just large platters. And the seafood stir-fried with XO sauce was absolutely amazing. If you love seafood and XO sauce, this is a must-try. The restaurant's rating seems to have dropped recently, but it still offers traditional flavors that are worth trying. Thanks for the meal!!

A must-visit for dim sum lovers! The Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) are truly exceptional, showcasing traditional techniques and flavors. Located in the West Walk of Roppongi Hills, connecting to Metro Hat, this Chinese restaurant offers a lively view of the dim sum chefs preparing the delicacies, both from inside and outside the restaurant. I enjoyed the Black Vinegar Pork and the Seven-Dish Dim Sum Set. The Black Vinegar Pork was juicy with a crispy coating, perfectly complementing the sweet and tangy vinegar sauce. The Seven-Dish Dim Sum Set featured six delicious Xiao Long Bao as the main attraction. Despite their small size, these dumplings were packed with meat, offering a juicy and flavorful broth. The Shanghai Crab Roe Spring Rolls, with their refreshing ginger accent, were a delightful surprise, and the fresh and rich Mango Pudding was equally delicious. This is definitely a place I'll return to for my next dim sum craving.

I had lunch at Nanxiang Mantoudian Roppongi Hills. This restaurant is famous for its soup dumplings. I ordered the seasonal set. I decided to have lunch here because I could see the chefs making the soup dumplings expertly from outside. They served two types of soup dumplings: pork and shrimp. The dough was sweet, and the soup inside was hot and delicious 😋😋😋. The [pickled radish] that came first was perfectly salty and ideal for refreshing the palate 👍👍👍. The large steamed bun with bamboo shoots (takenoko) was delicious 😊😊😊. I think the dry shrimp oil noodles would be better with the Chinese 🇨🇳 black vinegar that I ordered separately. The meatball soup is also twice as delicious with black vinegar 🤩🤩🤩.
