A charming Italian cafe and restaurant located in Nono Aoyama, surrounded by greenery. It's conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Omotesando Station and close to Gaienmae Station, making it easy to access. While the food is good, the cafe is perfect for a relaxing time. The staff is also very friendly. The ricotta pancakes are a bit more like a firm hotcake. They come in a stack of three, so you'll definitely be full. I ordered a lemonade, which was surprisingly sweet. It was a bit too syrupy for my taste, so I diluted it with some water. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.
I've been here several times with friends for lunch and tea. The staff's service is excellent and makes you feel comfortable. The lunch leaf salad, for example, is beautifully plated and I think it really appeals to women. It's a popular spot, so it's hard to get a reservation, but it's conveniently located and I plan on visiting again. I've had the opportunity to chat with the female owner a few times, which gave me a better understanding of the restaurant and made me appreciate it even more. I also think their sister restaurants, Ebisu LALA and Ikebukuro RACINE, are great places with excellent service and menus.
Just a short walk from Omotesando, there's a place where you can enjoy a wonderful lunch in a tranquil atmosphere. It's called RACINES AOYAMA. π¨ While this restaurant tends to be crowded on weekends, visiting on weekdays allows for a relatively smooth entry and a leisurely lunch experience. This time, I'll share a detailed account of my lunch experience at RACINES AOYAMA. The Ambiance πΏ Stepping into RACINES AOYAMA, you're greeted by a simple yet sophisticated interior. The modern design of the space blends the warmth of wood with chic hues, creating a comfortable and serene atmosphere. π³ The high ceilings and spacious layout make it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy your meal. The Lunch Menu π₯ For lunch that day, I ordered the salad lunch. It's characterized by its lightness while still being fulfilling. First, the visual appeal is striking. The plate, adorned with a colorful arrangement of fresh vegetables, is like a work of art, stimulating the appetite. π¨ The salad features an abundance of seasonal vegetables, offering a delightful crunch. Particularly noteworthy was the dressing. It seemed homemade, boasting a light yet deep flavor that enhanced the natural deliciousness of the salad ingredients. β¨ The added nuts and cheese served as toppings, adding an accent to the salad and enriching the overall flavor profile. Enjoying the Meal π² The salad lunch at RACINES AOYAMA is more than just a salad; it comes with side dishes and soup. That day, the seasonal soup was "beet soup." The vibrant pink hue of the soup beautifully complements the natural sweetness of the beets and the smooth creaminess. π Each sip warms both the heart and the body with its gentle flavor. In addition to the salad and soup, you can choose from a selection of baguettes and drinks, which is a welcome bonus. π₯ The baguette is baked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. It pairs beautifully with the salad and soup, further enhancing their flavors. The drink options include coffee, tea, and fresh juices, making them a perfect way to end the meal. πΉ Weekday vs. Weekend π While RACINES AOYAMA tends to be crowded on weekends, visiting on weekdays allows for a relatively smooth entry. Reservations can be difficult to secure during lunch hours, so aiming for weekdays during less busy times is best. π On weekdays, when it's less crowded, you can savor your meal in a tranquil atmosphere and enjoy a relaxed lunch experience. Overall Rating βββββ RACINES AOYAMA is a restaurant that offers a sophisticated interior and a fresh, delicious salad lunch. The salad lunch, in particular, is a visually stunning dish that showcases the quality of its ingredients. It's light yet satisfying. π Visiting on weekdays allows you to enjoy a high-quality lunch in a relaxed setting, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a touch of luxury during their busy lunch break. The location in Omotesando makes it an ideal spot to stop by during shopping or sightseeing. π I'm eager to try other menu items next time. It was a wonderful lunch experience. π
This is a cafe located in Nonoaoyama. I visited during a weekday tea time when I returned to Japan after a long time and met with my family. There were many female customers in the cafe. The interior was very beautiful. The male staff member who greeted me first gave me a slightly rough impression, perhaps because he was busy. I ordered a donut set (you can choose two donuts + a drink), and I was surprised at how delicious it was. The female staff member had a gentle and warm atmosphere, which was nice. However, the male staff member who greeted me first was always busy and seemed a little irritated, and his words were a bit prickly, making me feel a little uncomfortable. I wondered if it was because I had a small child with me, and I couldn't relax fully. This was a bit disappointing, as I've never felt this way in a cafe or restaurant before. The donuts were delicious, and I'm interested in the lunch menu, so I think I'll visit again...
**Overall:** This time, I only used the takeout service. While they offer lunch, I got donuts to go. The line looked long, but it moved steadily like an assembly line. **Accessibility:** About a 5-minute walk from Omotesando Station. **Crowds:** I visited on a weekend around 11 am. There was a line out the door, but I think it took about 15 minutes. **Seating:** Although I didn't eat in, the interior is relatively spacious with mainly table seating. **Ordering:** You select your donuts from a tray and take them to the register. **Payment:** They accept cashless payments. **Lineup:** I think there were about 10 different kinds of donuts, all with cute appearances.
