The incredibly popular Shrimp Cutlet Sandwich I visited "Sandwich House Märchen, Daimaru Tokyo Store," directly connected to the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station. It's located on the B1 floor of Daimaru Tokyo. I arrived around 12 pm on a Sunday, and while there was a line, I was able to check out quickly. I purchased the Shrimp Cutlet and Egg Pair Sandwich for 561 yen. Excluding fruit sandwiches, this is their most popular shrimp cutlet sandwich. The shrimp is packed in, and it's delicious sandwiched between soft bread. The classic egg sandwich is also undeniably delicious. I enjoyed it all the way to the end.

The sandwiches are made fresh in the back of the store. I love the process, with careful control of freshness and humidity. The staff is also very efficient, with no wasted questions or steps, resulting in no unnecessary waiting time. I admire the store design, operational manual, and training implemented by Harada-san. And of course, the sandwiches are delicious.

The fruit sandwiches are delicious. The whipped cream isn't overly sweet or heavy, so you can easily devour them. If you go late, they often sell out and have very few options left (though they were slightly discounted). I recommend going early. The strawberries were a bit tart, but the Shine Muscat grapes were delicious.

This is Sandwich House Märchen, located in the Daimaru Tokyo store. From their enticing menu, I chose the Cherry Fresh Cream sandwich. It was delicious, with plenty of fresh cream and just a few cherries. The fluffy, soft bread and generous cream filling made me very happy! There are so many other options, I'd love to try some of their savory sandwiches too!

I bought this for lunch on the Shinkansen on New Year's Eve. The basement floor of Daimaru was packed with people, and every bento shop had a line of at least 10 people. I chose this shop because the line was relatively short and my wife loves bread. From left to right in the photo: * **Kogura Whip:** It was just plain delicious. * **Ume (Plum) Meat Renkon (Lotus Root):** The lotus root was crunchy and delicious. * **Gobou (Burdock) Salad:** The burdock was crunchy and delicious. I wish I had gotten another one! It was a light meal, almost like a snack, and I was about 70% full. But it was a delicious sandwich ☺️
