I had a homemade sandwich set at Rubinz Coffee, a cafe located behind the KY Building. I chose the ham and egg sandwich for lunch. It came with coffee jelly and a cup of coffee. The sandwich was full of homemade charm, and the bread was moist and delicious. The jelly had a firm cream topping and a nice coffee aroma.
**Highlights:** * Walls and air tinged with cigarette smoke * Coffee at an incredibly low price, starting from ¥250 * Food is on the smaller side, but starts from ¥50 **Review:** It's rare to find these prices in Tokyo nowadays, isn't it? The opening hours are sometimes delayed by an hour on "closed" days. It seems they adjusted their hours to match the Tsukiji Fish Market. It made me feel a little sad to see this vestige of the past.
A quick break with a BLT (bacon, lettuce, tuna) and iced coffee. The heat today is too much for walking outside.
The atmosphere is very comfortable, and the coffee is delicious. They offer light meals like homemade sandwiches and hot dogs, as well as some snacks. It's a small shop, so unlike Starbucks, you can relax and take your time. Smoking is allowed.
I didn't know where to go on a rainy day, but this place was great. I could smoke and the coffee was delicious.
