This is a typical old-fashioned bakery in town. They have a menu item called "Aoyama Bread," but it's pretty standard. However, the prices are reasonable considering the location, and the taste is surprisingly good. The item pictured below is a pie with whipped cream and cream cheese, and it's delicious.
Located on Kotto-dori, a street known for its stylish shops, this bakery has a refreshingly down-to-earth vibe, both in its appearance and its bread. It boasts a wide selection of savory breads, reminiscent of the kind you'd find in a school cafeteria during your growing years. Prices are mostly in the 100 yen range, making it very affordable. I also appreciate that they open as early as 6:30 am.
This is a rare find in this area - a very affordable bakery. The interior has a down-to-earth feel, with a variety of savory and sweet breads on display. It's open from 6:30 am, which is a real lifesaver.
It's located along Kotto-dori Street. In a way, the store's appearance doesn't quite fit in with the atmosphere of the area. As for the bread, I had the white fish fillet and variety sandwiches. The bread was substantial and the fried fish was crispy. While it wasn't fancy, it was a delicious lunch bread where you could taste the flavor of each ingredient. There was a regular customer, I presume, who was checking the stock of the croquette sandwich. They were sold out, unfortunately. I would have loved to try it. Next time, I'll try the croquette sandwich and a different kind of sandwich.
There are many other bakeries around, but I like this one the best. It's relatively inexpensive for the location, so it seems to be popular with employees from nearby businesses.
