This Starbucks is located within the restricted area of Narita Airport's Terminal 1 and is only accessible to passengers with international flight tickets departing from the terminal. You can access it after going through immigration. It's a Starbucks that specializes in ToGo orders, with no seating inside. However, there's a free space with seats and tables right next to the store where you can enjoy your drinks and food. It tends to get very crowded, so it's recommended for those with ample time.

I stopped by before heading to Amami Oshima. I took Peach Airlines. The weather was sunny. It was a little past 7 am. There were few people around. It seemed like I arrived just as the store opened. I was hungry because I hadn't had breakfast. I wanted something light, so I ordered a vegetable bread and iced coffee. The bread was packed with fresh lettuce, and the crisp texture was pleasant. It was quite filling and seemed like it would keep me full for a while. It went well with the coffee. The store doesn't have doors, so it's cold in the winter. It would be too cold to stay for long. The characteristic roasted coffee bean aroma of Starbucks wasn't present. Since it's right near the gate, it's convenient for meeting up with people.

You can enjoy your usual Starbucks coffee before boarding. They sell mugs and tumblers from all over Japan, making them great souvenirs.

There are only a few seats, but it was quite empty in the afternoon. (May 21st, afternoon) There were two counters because of the long queue (but the cashier was actually very quick and there wasn't much of a wait).
