This bakery is located inside the Gransta, which is within the ticket gates of Tokyo Station. It has a seating area, making it convenient for those with train transfers. The atmosphere is stylish. The bread is displayed in cases, and cream buns are individually wrapped, ensuring hygiene. They offer whole-wheat bread, demonstrating their commitment to quality ingredients. The smoked salmon sandwich with lemon was refreshing and delicious.

I found a bakery that was bustling with customers on a weekday morning! The bread prices ranged from about 300 to 500 yen per piece. Personally, I loved the curry bread and the chocolate milk bread! They have a variety of savory breads, so I think it's a place that men would enjoy too. They also seem to offer a morning set that you can eat in the store, so it's great for grabbing breakfast before heading to work!

A high-quality bakery in Utsunomiya with its main store, inheriting the DNA of L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon. The operating hours from 7 am to 10 pm and the eat-in space make it very convenient to use. I stopped by "The Standard Bakers Tokyo" in the Gransta inside Tokyo Station on my way to catch a train. Gransta is located both inside and outside the station, and it can be very confusing for those unfamiliar with Tokyo Station, so it's necessary to check beforehand. On the other hand, if you're familiar with Tokyo Station, you'll be drawn to the vast number of stores in Gransta, and you'll want to stop by a different store every time you use Tokyo Station. So, this time, I stopped by "THE STANDARD BAKERS TOKYO" and bought some delicious bread. Incidentally, this store is located on the 1st floor of Gransta, but its sister store, "Curly's Croissant TOKYO BAKE STAND", is also located on the B1 floor of Gransta. The main store of "THE STANDARD BAKERS TOKYO" opened in 2018 in Oyatsucho, Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, and is operated by "CULTURE BANK STUDIO." The company's executive chef is Yuni Ujiie, who trained at the three-Michelin-starred "Joël Robuchon" and the "Boulangerie Boulud", a bakery listed among the top 100 in Japan. And as mentioned earlier, in 2020, they opened two stores in Gransta. Incidentally, Ujiie-san brought in his juniors from his time at Robuchon, and "THE STANDARD BAKERS TOKYO" carries the DNA of Robuchon. It's located inside Tokyo Station, making it a top-notch bakery for easy purchases while at the station. The store is located inside the station, with an eat-in space of 24 seats, and the operating hours are from 7 am to 10 pm. Delicious bread from morning to night, with an eat-in space, is a service that is beyond reproach. On this day, I bought "Hokkaido Croissant", "Hokkaido Butter Quiche Amand", "Miyagoyai Egg Cream Bread", and "3 Kinds of Hokkaido Cheese Focaccia". Hokkaido Croissant... A croissant made with Hokkaido wheat and butter, and a focus on domestic and Hokkaido ingredients. It has a fragrance and a crispy texture that rivals croissants made with ingredients from France. Hokkaido Butter Quiche Amand... A quiche amand with the freshest Hokkaido butter and a crunchy caramelized texture that is incredibly delicious. It's delicious enough to be eaten as a dessert. Miyagoyai Egg Cream Bread... A delicious cream bread with a refined sweetness made with Miyagoyai eggs from Tochigi Prefecture and Hokkaido milk. I realized after I finished eating it that it would have been even more delicious if I had warmed it up in the microwave. 3 Kinds of Hokkaido Cheese Focaccia... A focaccia for cheese lovers, combining Hokkaido Gouda, Parmesan, and mozzarella cheese with béchamel sauce. Delicious! Overall, the bakery uses Hokkaido ingredients, including the rare wheat "Kitano Kaori", and has a strong commitment to high-quality bread making. And the bread making, honed at Robuchon, is truly high quality and delicious. The long operating hours, eat-in space, and two stores in Gransta show a strong commitment to service, and I think it's a very high-quality store. There's also "Boulangerie Boulud" in Gransta, so you'll never be short of delicious bread.

The coffee is very delicious. The seats are narrow, but comfortable. The almond croissant is very delicious. The service was minimal. It's great for waiting for the Shinkansen.
