The service was excellent, with attentive and thoughtful staff. All the dishes on the menu were delicious, so I almost gave it a 5-star rating, but I've given it a 4 to reflect my hopes for even greater things in the future. ✨ Thank you for the wonderful meal.
I visited this place because I wanted to enjoy some casual wine. The sparkling and various bottled wines are very reasonably priced, starting from ¥2,750!!!! The food is Spanish-style, with a wide selection of tapas that pair well with wine. On this day, they recommended the Ezo deer menu, so I ordered the Ezo deer ham. From the standard menu, I also ordered pickles, shrimp and mushroom ajillo, and three pieces of baguette. The deer ham (¥680) was moist and flavorful, perfect with wine. The pickles (¥480) were delicious, but a bit small and left me wanting more. The ajillo (¥680) came in a cast iron skillet with three soft-shelled, whole shrimp and plenty of mushrooms submerged in oil, infused with dill. It was delicious. I would have liked a bit more salt, though. Reviews mentioned that the baguette was served as a complimentary appetizer and could be refilled, but it seems they have stopped offering it as an appetizer and now charge ¥200 for two pieces. That's a shame. The ajillo had plenty of oil, so I ordered three pieces (six slices) of baguette. The restaurant is non-smoking, but there is an ashtray outside where you can smoke. The staff was friendly and cheerful, and I'm already looking forward to trying something new next time. I was very satisfied with this place.
A wine bar located in the heart of Asakusa. I sat at the counter and enjoyed a glass of their recommended wine for the day. When I received the wine list, I discovered a wine made from my favorite grape variety! I decided to order a bottle without hesitation. I decided to have a hearty drink, so I ordered a wine-steamed shellfish platter and a cheese assortment, both served in large dishes. The shellfish platter included mussels, scallops, and clams, but there were a few bits of grit mixed in. I was enjoying it, but I had too much for myself, so I offered half of it to the nice couple sitting next to me from the start. I'll definitely go back again. Thank you for the delicious meal.
I was strolling through Asakusa looking for flowers for Mother's Day when I came across a shop selling carnations. It was almost closing time, so I couldn't have a drink, but it was a lovely place. I'll definitely visit again next time.
The food was decent (3 stars), but the service was terrible (2 stars) due to numerous mistakes and mishaps by the staff. Shortly after we sat down and started eating, we were suddenly handed a receipt. We hadn't asked for the bill, so we were confused whether they were trying to rush us or if they thought we were finished ordering. Upon closer inspection, the receipt was for a completely different order. When we pointed this out, it turned out they had given us the wrong customer's receipt. We also ordered wine, but it took over 30 minutes to arrive. When we finally asked about it, they admitted they had forgotten. While there were a fair number of customers, only two staff members were managing the entire second floor. They didn't seem particularly busy, and there were times when they appeared to have free hands. We were there for about two hours, and during that short time, there were so many mistakes that we started to question the restaurant's competence. It left us feeling uneasy.
