Freshly baked bread is the best. I wasn't particularly picky about bread before, but after trying the "koppe" here, I realized that fresh bread is truly superior. The bread is soft, fluffy, and has a gentle, fragrant aroma. It's also glossy and alluring. The purple and white filling is beautiful. I wish I had bought more... [From their website] To ensure you enjoy the best flavor, we bake our bread to order. Our sweet "koppe" bread is spread with jam or cream right in front of you, so you can savor the fresh taste. Our savory "koppe" bread is fried in small batches to ensure it's as fresh as possible and served warm.
A specialty shop for "koppepan" (a type of Japanese sandwich bread) located in front of Asakusa ROX. There are a few seats for eating in. They also have fried bread like "kinako pan" (a type of sweet bread coated in soybean flour). The "kinako pan" is not very sweet. I would prefer it to be sweeter.
I happened to walk past and saw a sign advertising fried bread for ¥100, so I went in. It seems that fried bread is ¥100 on the 10th of every month. There were about 10 people in line. You can also eat in. The flavors are sugar, kinako (soybean flour), and brown sugar. I had the brown sugar, which was subtly sweet but had a nice crunch. The bread itself was also sweet, and it was a good size and very satisfying. It was delicious. I would definitely go back again if I have the chance.
I saw the "Coppe Nama Doughnut with Custard Cream" advertised outside and decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much in terms of flavor, but it was actually delicious (seriously!).
I got takeout, a corned beef potato and a tuna potato salad. They were cheap and delicious. I was so spaced out that I didn't hear my number being called, but a female staff member brought it to my table. Thank you so much! 😭 There are eat-in spaces both inside and outside the store.
