Meat Yazawa, a famous spot in Gotanda! I'd heard so much about it but somehow never got around to trying it. This time I splurged and got the luxurious bento box! I was shocked when I saw the price tag. It was the first time I'd ever spent 9,000 yen on a bento box! The contents were pretty impressive: ハンバーグ (hamburger), Yazawa steak, and sirloin. It lived up to its name! The hamburger was packed with meaty flavor. It was juicy and delicious! I definitely want to try it fresh at the restaurant.
I had some time to spare before my Shinkansen departed, so I bought a ¥2,000 hamburger bento from the Yazawa Meat corner in the Daimaru basement food hall. It was quite a bargain compared to their other steak bentos. Of course, it's more expensive than a regular ekiben, but it's definitely delicious! It's hearty and packed with meaty flavor. A little indulgence on a train journey is a nice treat, wouldn't you say?
This was my second time visiting. Last time I had only the hamburger bento, but this time I ordered the Yazawa Combo. It was a weekday evening, so there was no line at all. The steak was tender and the hamburger came with plenty of sauce, so I enjoyed it with the delicious sauce. I'll definitely buy it again when I go to Daimaru.
I wanted to eat something delicious for a celebration, and I chose this place because of the good memories I had from visiting the Go-tan-da location before. Although there was some time between picking up the bento box and eating it, it was still very delicious.
I had been wanting to try this for a while, but I always seemed to miss the opportunity. I either had to catch the Shinkansen before Daimaru opened, or Tokyo Station was just a stopover and not my final destination. This time, I finally had the chance because I was traveling to Akita by Shinkansen. There were many options, but I decided to go for the hamburger and diced steak bento with a fried egg on top. To be honest, 3100 yen is quite expensive, but I splurged and ordered it. The bento box is quite large, so it's a bit inconvenient to carry around, but the bag is very elegant. I got on the Shinkansen and opened it around Omiya. It's definitely very luxurious. The contents are generous: hamburger, diced steak, corn, carrots, green beans, and pickles. I cut into the hamburger first, and as expected, it was juicy. The diced steak also had a strong meaty flavor and a good bite. The carrots and green beans were crisp and delicious. My Shinkansen journey was filled with pure happiness. I'll definitely get this again when I have the chance. It's the perfect companion for a Shinkansen ride.
