## [Restaurant Review: Soranoiro NIPPON] **Location:** - Nearest Station: Tokyo Station, Yaesu Exit (1-minute walk, 60 meters) - Located in the Ramen Street of Yaesu Underground Shopping Mall. **Crowds:** - Expect crowds during weekday lunch, weekends, and holidays. **Ambiance:** - Offers both counter and table seating. **Payment:** - Cash only, via ticket vending machine. **Smoking:** - Designated smoking areas available at Tokyo Station. **Review:** On Monday, my usual spot was closed, so I headed straight home. It was my daughter's birthday, so I went to Tokyo Station to buy her some Crayon Shin-chan merchandise. While I was there, I decided to check out Ramen Street, which I hadn't visited in a while. They were holding a limited-time Stamina Fair, and I was immediately drawn to the menu at this restaurant. I couldn't resist ordering the "Spicy Chili Tomato Ramen" from the vending machine. I handed my ticket to the staff at the entrance and took a seat at the counter. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and popular with many female customers. After waiting about 5 minutes, my ramen arrived. The bright red soup was topped with tandoori chicken and tomatoes, making it visually appealing. The soup was spicy and tangy, with a delicious flavor. The Spicy Chili Tomato Ramen costs 1,500 yen. It was a delicious meal! **[Spicy Chili Tomato Ramen with Oven-Baked Tandoori Chicken]** **Features:** - Limited-time menu - Uses a blend of four spices: cumin, coriander, chili, and oregano - Soup is made with tomato paste and chicken white broth - Rich and flavorful, with a distinct spice and tomato tang **Noodles:** - Flat noodles - Made with high-hydration dough, resulting in a smooth and chewy texture **Toppings:** - Tandoori chicken, crispy spices, bean sprouts, string beans, corn, cherry tomatoes **Free Seasonings:** - Pepper, chili powder, and salt are available upon request. - Unlimited fried shallots **In a Nutshell:** - This limited-time menu is part of the Stamina Fair held at Ramen Street. - This year's theme is "Spicy and Delicious," so the ramen has a spicy kick. #TokyoRamen #ThickNoodles #LimitedTimeMenu #ConvenientLocation #PopularLunchSpot #Soranoiro #RamenStreet #KawaiDai #SpicyChiliTomatoRamen #Japan #ramen #noodle **Kawai Dai's Recommendation:** Soranoiro NIPPON Dinner / Excellent★★★ #Retty https://retty.me/area/PRE13/ARE15/SUB1504/100001734406/59038319/?utm_source=ipaShareReport

A popular ramen spot at Tokyo Station! When I'm hungry, I crave ramen ♡ I was wandering around Ramen Street, trying to decide where to go, and ended up at the popular Soranoiro ☆彡 I was hoping for the clam salt ramen, but it was sold out at the vending machine (;_;) I decided to go with the classic soy sauce ramen ♡ The ajitama (soft-boiled egg) soy sauce ramen was 1100 yen. They guided me to a table inside while I was still pushing my cart. The staff were very efficient. The ajitama soy sauce ramen arrived in about 5 minutes ♡ It looked delicious, just like I expected, with a clear soy sauce broth ♡ The soup was sharp and flavorful (o^^o) The noodles were smooth and chewy. The ramen was completely free of any off-flavors ♡ Simple is best, indeed ♪♪ Was it fried onions for a flavor change? It added a punch to the simple ramen and was fun to eat ☆彡 The noodles were easy to slurp down because they were so smooth. Ultimately, for a ramen to eat while traveling on business, this clear and refreshing soy sauce ramen was perfect ♪ I didn't have to wait too long, even though I was short on time, so I definitely want to try the clam salt ramen next time ☆彡 It was a delicious meal ♡ Thank you for reading until the end ☆彡 With gratitude

The flavor wasn't really to my liking. I ordered a shoyu ramen and a Nikutama donburi. The toppings included two types of chashu (chicken and pork), green onions, and bamboo shoots. The chicken chashu was tender and moist, likely cooked sous vide, and very well done. The pork chashu had a subtle charcoal aroma, which was nice. The noodles were average. The soup was underwhelming. It felt like I was being served something entirely different from what I expected in a shoyu ramen. There were many foreign tourists, and I felt it was a disservice to them to call this Japanese shoyu ramen. The Nikutama donburi was delicious, but it didn't arrive until after I finished my ramen. I had to ask the staff where it was, and even then, it took a long time to come out. There wasn't even an apology. Most of the staff weren't Japanese, and the hospitality was practically nonexistent. It felt like I was eating at a food distribution center. Overall, I was quite disappointed. Perhaps the food is better elsewhere, but I felt something crucial was missing here.

I arrived around 4 PM, so there wasn't a wait. I was tempted by the veggie ramen, but I ended up ordering the special clam salt ramen. The presentation was beautiful. I loved the curly noodles, and the three types of pork were tender and delicious 😋. The thick bamboo shoots and generous amount of clams made it truly a clam salt experience! I was very satisfied 👍. The interior was stylish and didn't feel like a typical ramen shop.

Since I was in Tokyo, I was looking for a delicious ramen shop with a soy sauce base, and I decided on this one. I chose the "all-you-can-eat" for 1500 yen, not worrying about the price. To be honest, the regular soy sauce ramen might have been better. The soy sauce soup and noodles, the base of the ramen, are delicious without a doubt. However, the chicken and pork, which are the char siu, had some gristle and were thin, so I didn't think they were particularly delicious. Therefore, I recommend the regular ramen if you want to purely enjoy the ramen. I don't think the char siu here is worth the extra few hundred yen for topping. The ramen is normally delicious, so I think it's worth trying.
